1) How the hell do you guys bring your cameras in there? Do you just slip them in the robe pockets?

That is what I do. Be careful not to lose it/steam it in the shower.

It is much tougher to avoid duplas than to arrange them. Make sure you know what you are going to get. Girl on girl is NOT automatic. Sometimes you can get two girls that ignore each other and you when you are with the other and sometimes you get an amazing show and double action. I concur with EA, trying to drive the price to R$150 inside of Help will never work. First the girls are out a minimum of R$23, but also get a drink so they are out R$30 to start. And I know some who go every day, that means they are paying R$900 a month just for a work location.
Then looks are a big factor, lately there have been a ton of girls I consider 4-6's, not attractive at all to me. There are a few nicer ones, but seem very few lately, they might go for less, but they have dreams of more.
I am currently staying with one Help gal full time, she was a R$300 gal and stuck to it, of course now that she is with me full time, the weekly rate is much less, we agreed on R$750 a week. IMHO, the most difficult thing for newbies to Rio is not to find girls, but actually get rid of them and explore other options while staying clear of telenovela-style drama once you have found them, whether at Help, the Copacabana outdoor restaurants, or in the termas. You can bet that if you treat the girls nicely, compassionately and generously, they will try to monopolize you and keep you all for themselves as much as possible: guys like you are rare, certainly much much rarer than attractive women. In a terma, you are a paying customer who can pick and chose at your exclusive whim. If a previous girls you wouldn't mind repeating with in the future tries to pressure you and isolate you from other girls, just tell her the truth: that you like her, but that you are in the mood for something (someone) else today. Ask her whom of her colleagues she would recommend, possibly for a dupla (even if that dupla might never materialize). That way, the girl has something to gain for picking a good performer for you, too.

Remember, you are king, and anywhere in Rio, there is no reason for having to let the girls dick you around.

Personally, I really wouldn't worry to much about possibly offending a terma girl by picking another one the same night. If you want to lower prices in the tourist P4P segment of Rio, why not do this: don't go to the tourist hangouts and explore cheaper options. Perhaps eventually, as business plummets, overpriced Copa chicks may fall in line, too

1) I use a bulky SLR camera with a separate flash, which I keep in a small backpack. When I enter the boate, I leave my backpack in my locker. When I do a programma, I pick up my backpack from my locker and take it into the room. Couldn't be easier! Even if my camera did fit in my pocket, I'd rather keep it in my locker. Oralover, first, good report, and congratulations for a quick nomination by Jackson to the RoD. Here's my take on your questions:

1. I have very compact Sony DSC-T1 that easily fits in a robe pocket, so that's exactly what I do. Most of the manufacturers make a camera that size. One thing I would recommend is the illuminated auto-focus feature which emits a light to focus the camera -- a big help in termas where the rooms are fairly dark.

2. This can be tricky, but I've done it a number of times. A lot of it just depends on the girl, but I always try to be polite and friendly and if the first girl is alone offer to buy her a drink or two. I've had some pout, but they'll get over it. I'ver never had one go over the top, but if I did I would not hesitate to report it to management.

3. Duplas are definitely available. Interestingly, on my most recent trip to Brasil (Rio de Janeiro) the Policia Federal Agent did not stamp my passport on entry and the passport was again not stamped upon exit. I entered on a US passport with a 5 year visa and I had visited Brasil several times before and they stamped the passport upon entry/exit on all other visits. Suerte,

They usually always stamp on entry. However, I have not seen a stamp on exit in quite a while. Sometimes they don't even ask to see the passport on exit, they only want you to turn in that card.
