- How is the weather during this time is there any sunny is it possible to swim or its rainy and cloudy. Should be sunny, November is late spring, should be good beach weather

- Are hotels girls friendly? Or some of them (I don’t like motels idea) can I get girls to my hotels or they don’t allowed. Some allow and some do not. Best to get an apartment, you have more freedom

- Where is the best place to hang out during the night? Help Disco on Ave Atlantica in Copacabana

- Girls on the beach are we possible to get them or not. Yes in front of the othon Palace hotel, it's called Ho beach, many Pros hang out there. If you do not speak Portuguese it will be difficult to pick up non pros

- Is it un safe there should we worry in the night and only stay in the beach side or we can go around. Worry, be careful, take taxi cabs at night but you should be OK, don't flash cash or jewelry, be low key

- What is the cost in us $ for drinks inside bars and discos and are there any entrance fees About $5 for hard liquor, $3 for a beer, most have entrance fees, Help disco I think is about $18

I would like to thank all of you fellow mongers for the info you provided on this site. I returned from Rio Monday morning, and I can say this has been one of my best vacations ever. This was my second trip to Rio, and by far the best. I got the nerve to go to VM, and if you can stand the [CodeWord140] smell, the loudest music in the world, then this is the place for you. The girls range from two's to eight's, but for 10 or 15 bucks, who can complain. I went to Cancun the day before VM, and although the girls there were extremely hot, and my session was very good, after my experience with VM, I can honestly say that these Termas's are a waste of money. Oh, if you do want to go to Cancun, It's nice, I sessioned with a girl named Luna. She does everything, and works really hard to please. I can tell she is very popular there. I went to 4x4 also, because we have some friends there that will come to our place and not charge much, or nothing for the night after. There, I recommend a hot blond named Angelica. Although she is not the one that doesn't charge, I won't mention their names because they will charge everyone else. Angelica has a perfect body, and a beautiful face. We also picked up some girls from Balcony. Now these girls are not top of the line, but most are good honest girls who will do what it takes to show you a good time. Off Road. I've taken that trip before, Sao Paulo to Rio by bus but it was with another company (1001) the ride was very comfortable they had reclining seats with TV video movies playing, whole trip took about 4 1/2 hours to downtown centro rio.

Overall it was a comfortable ride.

The cost was about R$60.00

It's down to negotiation. If she likes you she may stay that long for 100. I have one or two girls who will.

I don't mind paying for food in Brasil. I hate doing it in America. In Britain we've moved beyond that and it varies. If I earn more than my date I try to pay more. If a girl expects me to pay for everything then she is treating herself as an object and it turns me off. Needless to say I rarely date Americans, but no need to generalise about girlfriends worldwide. Some of them are real people and know how to behave as an equal.

Will be returning to Brazil for 3-5 months after 3 years of absence. I hear a lot has changed including the prices. Planning to stay one month in Rio and then slowly head up North towards Macapa. Also I will post a lot while in Brazil, I always do.

Lots of guys say they don't discuss pricing and just pay at the end. Surprisingly it works for them. I personally don't like surprises. I am used to ripoff strip joints that charge 80 dollars for a beer if you don't ask beforehand. so I always ask. What if she wanted 800 and settled for 600? would he want a showdown with a screaming cursing ***** who calls police on him?

Also it is not common to deduct food and other items. Even your girlfriend expects free food. Taking a girl out to an expensive place and then deduct R$ 150 for food is not a common and expected behavior. Maybe if she went shopping for R$ 400, you might try to deduct that

I have gone shopping with a few termas girls. The first time I was scared that I was going to get a bill but they always just whipped out their cards to pay at then end. Another time I ran into a girl at a kilo place and she invited me to sit with her. She automatically paid her own bill at the end. This is quite refreshing compared to American girls. Sometimes even casual acquaintences there want me to pay for everything. Does the phrase, "Do I need to bring my purse for anything? " sound familiar?

As for the guy that decided only to pay 150 at the end, I was told by a garota once that she hates leaving Help with Brazilians because they know that legally you really do not have to pay a girl and some guys just choose not to. Personally, I always want to settle the price beforehand but one time at the Chicago Club in TJ I went with a girl that told me I could pay her whatever I thought was fair afterwards. Since I already knew her (she helped arrange a few sessions with her friend that officially did not go with guys, only danced) I agreed and I think I paid her $50 which she was very happy with and gave me her cell number and hotel address.

Can any one adivce me the different means for transport from Sao paulo to Rio . The rates in USD and the no of hours by air,road and rail.

Air: 1 hour.
Bus: 6 hours, R$ 60-75 (some parts have a very nice scenery).
Rail: not an option.
