I'm going to Rio in May and need a few tips.

1) I heard that the hotels in Rio don't allow guest, however, can I just fool the hotel by telling them that two people are staying there instead of just me? Do they check ID everytime you walk in the door? I've never come across this so I'm trying to prepare for the experience.

2) I have read about the club action, but I guess I haven't seen much on street action. What are some cross streets that I should check out and at what times?

So as i'm sitting home back in the US suffering from Post Rio Syndrome I thought I would give some final thoughts on my trip. First of all, to dispute many comments I've seen on this board, the quality of women overall is the same as always. I only checked out one Terma(Luomo) on my trip but I thought for a Sunday night, the talent was pretty good. Help is still Help. The quality of girls range from downright awful(mostly in front on Terraco Atlantico) to absolutely stunning. There was never a night when I couldn't find at least 5 to 10 drop dead gorgous girls in there. On my last night, I checked out Barbarella's with a friend and my lady companion(Yes, I know that's like bringing sand to the beach, but I had fun anyway). There was major talent in that place. Very overpriced major talent, but major talent none the less. The girls that my friend were talking to mostly asked 4-5 hundred reals for the night. There were only about 8 guys including us there that night and maybe 40 girls. I don't kile the fact that Barbarella's is basically a rip off joint but, I would return just based on shear talent alone.

There is no place in the world where you get the GFE like Rio. Maybe there is, but I haven't been there yet. The reason my posts stopped the last couple of days was because I was with the same girl and I had no more info to give with the exception of the best restaurants to eat in Rio(Definitely try Marius in Leme and Porcao in Ipanema). This was the same girl I had been with two years ago, and she seems to only be getting better with age. It really is difficult not to fall in love with these girls. They're beautiful, smart, and passionate. I always have that hint of doubt as to how much of it is an act but for those 4 days, do I really care. Actually that's a lie, I do care but how do you ever know the truth? As I have to get up right now back in the real world and go to work, I leave this trip with some great memories. I banged some beautiful women, I ate at the best restaurants, and i made some great friends along the way(Even though I lost one in the process). I'll look forward to Memorial Day when I'm planning to return and live the life for 9 days once again. Obrigado!!!

I regret that you do not understand the initial point that I was trying to make. On the other hand, perhaps you do fully understand and decided to attack rather than defend your position.

The often-stated mission of this site is "to facilitate the exchange of information between men who are looking for women". Men from all different cultures, with different views and different interests share information with each other. This information is certainly not private yet also not in the "public domain". It is a wonderful concept and quite amazing how it works so effectively. My reference to "man's code" simply refers back to the mission of this site, the "exchange of information between men."

The site is not "to facilitate the exchange of information so that Rio Joe can get information for a book", which is what created my reference to "betrayal of trust."

I did get quite a chuckle regarding your supposition that I am actually E. T. Under another name. From reading this forum it appears that he has also gotten a little under your skin. Perhaps by combining us you can feel better knowing that there is now only one person that irritates you. You obviously are a little sensitive, which probably caused you to lash out with your diatribe aimed at me. Rather than take up valuable space on this Forum I will simply let it go. I commit to the other members that this is the last comment that I will make on this subject.

If the purpose of this site is "to facilitate the exchange of information between men who are looking for women" can we try to keep on topic, if you want an argument use the messaging system please.

Thank you for posting this article, very informative. It is also one that mentions the Bingo Arpoador option for Helps replacement space. I heard it was a good space, multiple floors and large, sounds like a good option but I already heard that they have been declined a disco license to open up there and Ipanema doesn’t want a Help. Que pena.

If Help closes before a replacement club is available, Ave. Atlantica will be swarming with GDP's.

As far as the couple in that picture is concerned, they look like a lovely couple and he looks like a nice guy who wouldn't hurt a fly.

I really don't think it's cool of you to describe the mongering actions of some of your fellow forum members as "cheating" and to take the moral high ground in this forum. I would argue that recreational sex is completely different from relationship sex and having sex with GDPs doesn't damage relationships unless one becomes emotionally involved with them, which most members of this forum appear to be able to successfully avoid. In fact it can improve your home sex life. I think the term "cheating" is a glib way to describe guys who are just trying to wring as much as they possibly can from the limited time they have on this planet. I have even met women who are understanding of this.

Hey, I've cheated too. My argument with Canuck_ET is that he's a self-righteous hypcocrite who accuses people of betraying his "man's code" while he advocates being disloyal to girlfriends/wives. In Canuck_ET's mind, having an affair and bragging about it to his friends makes him a "man's man."

Frankly I feel that your presence on the site is a betrayal of trust and am a little disappointed that you do not see that you have broken faith with the “man’s code”. ET had it right from your first post….and it is a pity that more of us did not see you for what you truly are.

Obviously I have no interest in exposing anyone in a relationship. I'm very careful about respecting people's anonymity. I don't know if you're cheating on someone, and I don't want to know.
