Just wanted to add my 2 centavos about a trip I recently took for a week and a half.

I was staying in Copa and reasoned that unlike past trips where I focused primarily on Centro I would try to stay mostly at L'uomo. My reasoning was that although at first glance Centro appears cheaper, L'uomo is actually quite close in value due to:

1. exchange rate - L'uomo was giving 1.70 while my bank was only giving about 1.63 (I brought a lot of $US just for this purpose)
2. in L you shower before the session saving time
3. Due to the fact the foreplay is tougher in Centro in the boite more time is required. I always get an hour there (R$180 at 4x4) vs 40 minutes at L (R$200). If you count the time that I hang in the boite/relax room I was intimate time with girls well over an hour at L. Plus I like to make them work a little for my affection. It gives me an easier way to ask what they are into (or will allow) rather than just, "Oi, vc faz x, y, z?"
4. overall better attitude of the girls in L
5. free dinner
6. less travel time and expense
7. Although 4x4 has the before 5pm entrada special, if you do 3 sessions at L there also is no entrada and entering before 7pm weekdays (regardless of when the first session is) gives a reduced entrada as well.
8. since the girls days off vary, it is easier to avoid a certain favorite when she is off
9. less asking for tips from staff (although the reception girls at L do have a tendency to round up and short-change)
10. since there are less girls there, there are less "special" ones to hassle you

although this is offset by some advantages I see at 4x4:

1. cheaper overall prices
2. less hassling for drinks
3. more girls
4. easier to pull off-session time since everyone has the weekend off
5. girls are not allowed in the relax room so there is a place to escape during refractory periods
6. less annoying gringos and less loud-mouthed Brazilians

That was my plan. In actuality things did not work out exactly as planned.

First, I did have a great time at L. I was there 8 out of my 11 days. Some of my old favorites had returned and I met some nice new ones. 5 out of the 8 days I did 3 sessions and thus paid no entrada. One of the girls at reception was telling me how depressed she is at the poor dollar exchange and that business is hurting.

Some days were pretty crowded though although a lot of the crowd was Brazilian and had a much lower rate of session taking. There were a lot of pretty girls there with good attitudes. I did not get to everyone that I wanted to and will say that I only had one session that was a little disappointing (just a little).

There was one girl there that I was considering going with because I thought she was attractive and after trying her out by talking with her a few times I did not get a good vibe and went with someone else twice.
