Regarding your first point, if you're into hotels, the Sheraton is the best bargain, dollar for dollar, in Rio. It's a 5-star hotel at 3-1/2 star hotel prices. At the Sheraton, you'll pay less than half what you would at the Copacabana Palace or Caesar Park. And it's girl friendly. The only negative is the location.

Average time of the trip is around 60 mins. Obviously it depends on the amount of traffic.

You can also take the bus between airports in Sao Paulo (departs every 30 minutes) or to the Rua Augusta action (departs every 1h10m). They require fresh sheets, clean smelling rooms and so on. They like a nice glass of wine at the bar first. And they like all the possible choices to be of a certain minimum quality. In which case you cannot beat 4x4.....To each his own.

Yeah, I know. But the transport links from Tiradentes suck compared to Isabella where there´s buses to almost anywhere at any time of day or night and mostly using the expressway. Don´t get me wrong - Tiradentes has plenty of buses, just that most of them are stuck in traffic ;-)

Although I agree with Loso´s facts, I disagree with his assessment, but as everyone will have gathered there are two main camps on the board - those that mainly prefer upmarket places and those that like cheap and nasty as they are referred to.

My own estimation of places like 4x4 is that they are a phenomenon - I always visit from time to time. But it is like going to a hotel - if I´m staying in a cheap motel I don´t complain too much; if I´m paying Sheraton prices I expect things to be done rather better.

4x4 is great and no monger visiting Rio should miss it. But I find the quality of service very variable (though not as variable as Aquarios). The rooms in upmarket termas are often far too cold for my liking. And the girls often remind me of those upmarket pre-packaged meals you can get from better supermarkets. Their fingernails are done to perfection. Their smiles are practiced. Some of them speak a bit of English. Some of them have a smattering of education.

But I will give anyone this challenge. I know fellow mongers like to see photos and I don´t post recognisable photos of girls on the web. But I´ve put a slide show collection of some of the best on the photo feature of my phone for anyone who´s here and wants to meet up. It´s just of the most recent 2 to 3 yrs max - and I haven´t tried to emphasise one venue over the other. But if you made a top ten of looks, most of the 4x4 and other top terma girls would not be on it. It´s also my own opinion, based on several hundred girls from all pricing levels. The expensive ones are nicely packaged, but you cannot, IMO, beat getting your food fresh from the market and preparing it yourself ;-)

While I agree that fabulous girls (subjective because one guys fabulous might be another guys pig) can be found in even the cheapest of venues the quality X quanity of girls is not even close in true upmarket places vs the cheaper venues. 4x4 is not upscale. It may be compared to places like the VM whom even the brazilians refer to as an Area Trash on gpguia.net. But there are much better venues when it comes to the facilities. Bahamas and Bamboa in SP are true upscale places and it would be no contest if you lined those girls up against the girls from the cheap parlors. Same with Barbarellas. There's always going to be that one girl at the VM who could easily match up against any girl anywhere. That diamond in the rough but overall the girls at more upscale places are better looking. Rio antigo maybe being the exception. Now I know that's a matter of tastes because some guys like a little chipped nail polish or a battle scar here or there but for most guys having to sift through 50 dogs to find one beauty is not their idea of a good night while for others finding that pearl is heaven. If you really made a top ten of looks regular non-gdp girls would win out hands down. It seems that the tastes of alot of mongers has drifted to thin girls with small bundas, nice breasts and cute faces. Essentially california girls. They don't find the traditional brazilian big bunda girls attractive and thus don't find termas girls attractive because the big bunda girls are who the termas employ. I've seen the photos recently in the photo section. Guys are raving over thin girls with cute faces some of whom don't even look brazilian.

What alot off these women don't realsie is that high test levels will actually decrease the size off there arse, but if they increace estogen levels with high sodium levels it will cause there electrolyte balance to work overboard increasing water retention to fatty deposits ie. Arse, thighs ect. Where estogen carries in women. But the masculan side effects in women are irreversible. Foolish un educated women.
