Couldn't agree more. I have said many times that the slow times are best IMHO. But if you want to experience the uber party atmosphere, no doubt it is centred around Carnival, mainly because that is tourist high season. But the idea that somehow the stunners are not there in low season, I have not had this problem. Fewer girls but lots fewer customers so I always find something I like and I find attitudes are excelent during the slow times.

Should have known better
Rarely am I disappointed. Maybe my expectations were too high. But I should have known better. There were signs. First of all the girl worked at Centaurus. Second, I have never see her with guys after the session. Third, I see her dancing around a lot but never really sitting and making out with guys. So why did I go with her. Well, she has the best body in L'uomo. Absolutely perfect bubble butt and beautiful natural breasts.
Was she awful? No. Would your mileage vary. Based on what I saw, I do not think so. The other thing that should have clued me in is I sort of remember having been with her before. She said at Centaurus. But if she was that good, I think I would have really remembered her.
Depending on your standards, you may be happy with this girl, so I really do not want to dis her. All I will say is if you see a girl dancing wildly (more like prancing) and looking kind of stupid doing so, you probably have the right one. Also, although I did see her with a cigarette one time, in general she does not smoke.

Centauros Report
Friday Night was hopping at Centauros.
I went there to try out some new girls instead of going to L'uomo again.
I was talking with the Donna there and she said more than 120 men had come through the door that night alone. I'm not sure about those numbers, but there were alot of men and there were fresh faces all night.
A great selection of girls and lots of heavy foreplay in the boite.
Alot of the girls are now carrying little pouches on their waste, and they carry their keys to their lockers. Seems that one of the girls has been robbing the other girls lockers. So now they carry their cash and belongings with them. Some girls think they know who it is, but there is no proof.

Her locker was broken into 2 nights before and she was getting drunk to not think about it (being sad and/or angry isn't good for business). What a great night. And morning.

More on L'uomo
I was at l'uomo a couple of nights ago and found some of the rules the management was inflicting on the girls a little ridiculous. At one point there was only a few guys in the bar and a manager made one of the girls leave the side of a client that she already had sessioned with. If the place was crowded I could understand; but the girl just came back and had to stand at the bar with other girls because there were no other men to talk with. I also found out that the girls there have to pay a fine if they go a week without a session. The girls were telling me that the place has been pretty dead lately. I can understand a fine for not showing up; but to inflict a fine on someone already not earning anything is just cruel.
Other than that, the place was great as always. Booked a 2 hour session with Louisa who was so thankful for the business she showed me a fantastic time.

L'uomo Discount Card is working fine
The promotion of 50% discount on entrance before 7:00 M-F has ended. The discount now (if you have a card) is 50% off the entrance if you take a girl to the room. Based upon their regular discounts (R$10 off if you take a girl) this amounts to a savings of R$20. Balcony is next to the only park along Atlantico, across from lifeguard tower # 2 (Help is by post #5). Or look for the big black/brown hotel building Rio international and it's on the same block. As far as the Restaurant behind Help, sounds like the Office, which last time I was there a few weeks ago appeared to be closed.
Balcony has a lot of potential but the talent is usually not that great. Those guys probably wish Help would close since their talent pool would improve. A lot of the girls live over in that area by Prado Jr, would save those girls a lot of reais.
Also ET how is it going with the discount cards at Luomo's, I got one before I left last month. Just checking to see if they are not pulling any fast ones like they did last month with the e-mail promotion. The card is supposed to be good til the end of the year for a 50% discount on the entrada.

Balcony
For those of you who have never been to Balcony, do not go there expecting to see twenty doable girls. Many times you will be lucky to find one or two. I found an absolute gem the other night, but that happens rarely.
In my opinion, the best time to go is between 9:00 and 11:30. You will see some of the girls who will later be in front of or inside Help. Lately, with tourism down, the girls do not want to risk paying the entrance to Help and leaving without a client. They start earlier in the evening at Balcony in hopes of making money and then going to Help later. Also, I have noticed that some girls just don't like Help. They find it too big and competitive. At Balcony, they are able to work in a smaller open air environment. Though I don't make it a nightly event, it is worth a visit or two.

Was at L'uomo last night and it was nice guy heaven. There were people from all over the planet and everyone was so cool. It is like all the jerks have left Rio for NY or something.
The girls have all but given up on making money, they are now more into having a good time. At the end of the night right in the bar several decided that they didn't need their tops any more. Others put on pretty wild strip shows. It was not that the girls were drinking a lot. I just got the impression that they didn't care, they wanted to let their hair down and have fun. Hope this continues especially the jerks staying away.
OK those playing the home game can go back to their regularly scheduled posting.
