I actually didn't post any reports from my trip in January because of this. I had not intended to post from this trip either but some members knowing I was on my way to Sao Paulo now convinced me to post anyway. I really should not have done that. It just turns this forum into an arena for verbal fighting. This is not what I want.
What I don't understand I what motivates you to post like the qoute above. What have I ever done to you to provocte this kind of reaction? We have never even met. Why don't you just put me on your ignore list?

This is not my kind of place. But I am quite aware that people generally have good time there. And as I said, there were many attractive girls, that normally I would be very interested in, under different circumstances. The fact was that our girls were more aware of our apparent vulnarability and constantly looked after us.
You certainly don't need the help of a security guard to go there. Just watch out little more than the other conventional clubs and have a good time.
My personal taste for Disco is place like HELP (in Rio), where I am frequenting every night and having a time of my life.
Again, my report should not deter you from going to LOVE STORY. That will be a shame! You should at least experience it once. And that's exactly what we intended to do.

I've been a regular in LS for years and I've never had a problem and felt the need to have a security Hulk close to me.
Anyway the real VIP area in Love Story are the few tables downstairs facing the podium and the dance floor, just before the stairway. There's only about 12 "good" tables and each are occupied by people who "count" : football players, well known singers or ... main drug dealers. To have a table there, you need to ask to the 'gerante', and order at least one bottle (+/- 300 R, depends if you're a regular or not. I pay mines 250 R) and a few 'refrigerantes'. Large tips to the gerante and to your waiter are expected. Be also ready to largely dispense your wiskey and to buy MANY Tequila shots to the girls who will appear out of nowhere like fireflies. At those table you'll dive into a maelstroem of full-sized butts, gorgious faces and flat naked stomachs. It's paradise.
Love story is IMO the best disco on the planet.

Posts: 296Great reports, Bandy. With drinks at Love Story $25 each (they will let you in for $25, but you get only get one drink), I bet you guys DID spend a fortune.
Went to Kilt last week. It was very good. A great mix of girls and guys. A handful of the girls were truly topnotch.
I went to Oceano after Kilt. In contrast, it was dead. Why even bother opening the doors for business? Hardly a girl to be seen, and those that were there weren't worth a look. I barely had time to argue with a girl about the purse release tip. It's some thing they started at Cocktail, and I guess the policy persists at Oceano, where AFTER you buy the TWO exit drinks for your girl, they ask you for 10R to pay for purse storage. I didn't even want this girl, so we were arguing the merits of the policy. Ridiculous.
Stopped in My Love next. Not many girls, but those that were in attendance were quite enthusiastic. Most were dancing on the little stage near the front.
Big Ben was my next stop. I found the atmosphere to be quite nice there, but very few girls or guys there. This was around 1:00AM on a Monday night, I think.
Finally, I made it to my more comfortable environ -- the red-neon district of R. Augusta. I made the circuit, stopping at Maison (New Maison was closed), Night House, Balneiro Club, the one to the right of Balneiro Club that has the bar-type counter in front and the club on the street level, and a couple more.
The best talent was at Night House.
The best atmosphere was the place next to Balneiro, but they also have the pushiest girl in history.
Maison was right in between. The girls there often seem a little bored, but I did manage to be accosted by two drunk ones. For the price of a beer and the potential of a back-room jaunt, the two girls competed vigorously but graciously in a handjob olympic event for about 30 minutes.
Since I drank the obligatory beer at each of my stops, and I was glowing from my Clinica Kin experience earlier in the day, I walked the last mile to the hotel alone and slept. Kinda' whimpy, but it was 4:15, after all.
Speaking of Clinica Kin, still my favorite stop in Sao Paulo. I know that few of you will take the advice, but if you do, choose Cleo, Stephanie, Carol, Larissa or Camila. 120R includes a pre-drink, the girl, the room, 2 showers, and a goodbye drink. The girls are sweethearts. Never had a CBJ from anyone in my 18 months of visiting.
For other cheap bastards, bus 669 "Sto Amaro" takes you within 3 blocks (Enrique Petroni Jr. stop), and the "Princesa Isabel" bus goes the opposite way.
So, AGAIN, if anyone would like to try EU Elas tomorrow, let me know.

BTW, I thought this forum was about mongering and not about what I put in the minibar. I don't take offense from your post but it turned into a discussion with three or four posts about why I would restock the minibar which will only clutter the forum and occupy unwanted space.
I would also like to add that I have been asked by Vatel69 as a request from the madames not to put up the prices so I will not confirm any calculations on the price and certainly not the calculation given below.

I've never been to Love Story. It sounds like a war-zone when you describe it. Security-guards escorting you, Renata leading you by the hands and guards not letting anybody inside your booth. In what way is it like a zoo?

Posts: 464Whirwind tours of clubs on the last night in SP
Today was a Friday, a holiday here. So we knew the pickings will be slim. However, this is our last night here for this trip and we wanted to cover as much ground as we could.
Night started with a suggestion from Nilton. A new club in Jardins.
Aenchanter
Av. 9 de Julho, 5732
Sao Paulo
(55-11) 3062-4115
(This club is almost next to Romanza)
We did not have much time. But as Nilton always points out "para conocer", we thought what the heck! However, when we went there (around 10 PM), the guys up front told us that there was hardly any garota at this hour due to the holiday. So we did not take the tour. The club from the outside looked "high end". May be some other monger want to explore it further.
Our next goal was to visit Connection Night Club. We reached there around 11 PM. This club was the furthest from our hotel (100 R round trip) on the otherside of the town. The club was deader than dead tonight. I am sure it had something to do with the holiday. The club is the counterpart of Milleneum, but somewhat lower in prices. Huge floor space , but only 12-14 garotas, tonight. We immediately knew, we had nothing to do here. So we managed to gulp our drinks. Two girls approached us. Mine was a cute 20 yr. old morena with great natural tits. I bought a beer for her, took her in a dark corner, and felt her up. She popped open her natural tits and put my hand on those, when I questioned their fakeness. Very soon we exited that place.
Current price sturcture at Connection:
Entrance 60 R (includes drinks upto 60 R, Beer 12 R, Water, Juice 7 R, Red Bull 20 R, etc.)
Program : 250 R for one hour including room and garota. (no haggling with price with the garotas)
This trip we never visited the centro clubs. So we came back to KILT area.
First stop My Love. They all let us in free for a look. Things were terrible. The girls barely looked alive on the dance stage.
Next Stop OCEAN CLUB ( former Cocktail). May be 10 garotas. Management apologized.
Last stop KILT. Things could not be better. Full of energy, lots of girls. Soon I picked out a 21 yr. old tall University girl. Loira with a great figure. My friend also picked up a beautiful Morena.
Current prices at KILT
Entrance 35 R at the Bar (includes one drink)
Entrance 45 R at a table (includes one drink)
Garota exit drink 35 R
They put an additional 10% surcharge on the total bill
Very soon, we arrived at our hotel for our last romp in SP. I had one of the finest experiences with this girl. Too bad we had to leave for the airport by 9 AM. Otherwise, I would have kept her for a TLN. She left around 4:30 AM and I hit the sack for a couple of hours of sleep.
A nice end of the SP tours. Visited lots of new places this time. Also included some old favorites. I tried to update the price as much as possible. Hope the current mongers benefit from my reports.
A word of caution! Girls are all individuals and everybody likes different girls. So when I say that one particular girl was fantastic, it is strictly my experience with her. Yours can be totally different and you might actually hate her. So visit these places with open mind and have fun.

Posts: 464A visit to the LOVE STORY - the V.I.P. way
It was late Thursday night and we came back from Milleneium to Excalivur to pick up our TLN dates for tonight. My friend got the feature dancer, Reneta, and I had her friend, Kelly, from Curitiba.
It was around 2:30 AM and my friend wanted to visit LOVE STORY, the famous disco in centro. However, we were quite apprehensive of this place. Reneta took full responsibility and told us not to worry about anything. She promised us a definite good time. I can tell you that without Reneta's expertise I would have never set foot in that zoo.
We reached Love Story around 3 AM. Because the next day is a holiday, the place was jam packed. Reneta held our hands, said something to the security guards and we were led upstaires to a private booth by the guards. Reneta made sure that we were constantly being escorted by the security guards, even in the bathroom. Reneta apparently comes here often and knows all the key players. And she is only 19.
For the next two and a half hours, we were having time of our life. The drinks were flowing freely and we were dancing away with our girls at our heart's content. The security guard was watching the booth and did not allow anyone to come inside our space. Reneta took my friend inside the DJ booth for some personal announcement. We were watching the jungle scene downstaires from the top. I told my friend that I would never ventured to come to this place without a person like Reneta. Kelly pointed out a famous Brazillian singing group among the crowd downstaires. I knew, this previlege of VIP treatments will cost us money. The expense was mostly for the mixed drinks and generous tips.
Finally around 5:30 AM, we decided to leave the place. Although we had escort, but at this point nobody can help us. This was simple a human wall where even an ant can not go through. Both Reneta and Kelly held our hands tight, told us to protect our wallets and moved for the end zone. After 10 miniutes of constant pushing through the crowd, we found ourselves outside of Love Story in front of a waiting cab. After some generous tipping to the guards, we were on our way to the hotel with our girls in tow.
It was an expensive way to experience this place. However, if I were to repeat it, I would only opt for this option. The entrance to the Love Story was 50 R for four of us. There were plenty of eye candies as well as standard druggies. Very loud, very crowded, very unique!

Posts: 296I don't disagree with your analogy, Bubba Boy.
I submit that I spend a lot of time getting freshly squeezed juice for the price of unsweetened Kool-Aid. But, like I said, I appreciate GK's experiences. He's not messing up the market for me, anyway.
Back to my original post...
Maybe EU y Elas Wednesday, then Millinium on Thursday.
Decisions, decisions...

Posts: 296I've come to enjoy GK's posts. He overpays beyond belief, but he does it with eyes wide open. I got a kick out of the idea that he went to the grocery store to replace the juices!
For those of you with budgets in a more rational realm, I'll be in SP for a few days. Tomorrow (Wednesday), I plan to spend the afternoon and evening at Eu y Eles. I think I can walk from my hotel, or, if necessary, a $2R bus.
In the unlikely event I still have energy later, off to R. Augusta.
Thursday, probably All Black or Bourbon Street, then to R. Augusta.
Clinica Kin both Thu. and Fri. afternoon.
PM if around!

PS Vento is the most over-priced, overrated food venue in SP, I think. Up to US $27, I think.
