I may have given the impression I didn't like Bahamas that much. In fact I think it's the best bet for a slight move "upscale". The girls do ask like 500 (which I immediately counter with 400). A Prefeitura alega que desconhecia os fins comerciais da boate, apesar do site do Bahamas deixar explícito o ramo de atividade da casa.

De acordo com a Prefeitura, o estabelecimento tem um Termo de Consulta de Funcionamento (TCF), deferido no dia 13 de outubro de 2004, para a atividade de "Serviço de Hospedagem - Hotel - Restaurante e Boite". A atividade 'casa de prostituição de luxo' não é licenciável pela Prefeitura.

Marone também é proprietário do Oscars Hotel, que fica a 500 metros do Aeroporto de Congonhas, e teve o alvará de construção suspenso pela Prefeitura. O prédio poderá ser demolido. Além de prática de desvio de finalidade do local, o empresário pode ser condenado por crime de lenocínio, ou seja, facilitação da prostituição."

Marone also owns Oscars Hotel, which is 500 meters from Congonhas Airport, which had it's construction permit suspended. The building may be demolished. Depending on the outcome, Marone may be found guilty of Pandering or Facilitating Prostitution.

I would not take the closing of Bahamas too seriously. Bahamas has been closed several times in the past too and the owner has even been sent to jail for storing illegal weapons inside Bahamas.

This guy knows how to make a deal with the police, so he has always managed to keep out of jail and keep Bahamas open.

You were asking about non-mongering things to do. I recommend a club called Tom Jazz. They have excellent live music. Many hotties, of the middle/upper class type. It's in Higienopolis (just north of Ave. Paulista, about 2-3 blocks, on Ave. Angelica).

I'm a bit pissed I didn't have more time. One honey I met at Bomboa was going to take me to some clubs that would be better for actually meeting local gals than Tom Jazz. But my "furlow" from "Sex Prison" had come to an end...

Kilt is one of my favorites, smaller, older club. Bahamas is newer more girls and more upscale.
O'Malleys is a nice Irish Pub, not too many working girls there, when I have been there.

Next morning I took my TAM plane to Sao Paulo Congonhas. I guess few people have witnessed major airplane crash, firemen where still trying to control the fire when I landed. This was weird, going to a brothel to have fun while there are 200 people still buried in a major crash at only 200m! I walked along the crash scene towards Bahamas. All the international press was on site, I tried to avoid the cameras, didn’t want to appear on TV while I was supposed to be thousands of km from Sao Paulo. I could easily find Bahamas and entered.

Bahamas Rua Dos Chanés 571 www.cyberbahamas.com.br Opens daily from 14H00 till 2H00. Entrance is 121R, room is 99R, and the girl’s fee is not fixed, between 400 to 600R.
