My second visit in Brazil: Part 4: Black Beauty shock for me and all fellow mongers.

My second visit in Brazil: Part 3: My black Beauty alone again

First time visitor to SP in December - is the Novotel Jaragua near any action?
Thanks; I have read and searched TFF, but nothing came up for this hotel.

The hotel changed names a few times in the past few years. Jaragua to Holiday Inn Jaragua then to Novatel Jaragua. It is a remodled hotel, very nice, they were charging extra for internet and not all rooms had it, same with a safe.
It is very close to the Kilt and the others on that street , you COULD walk there, but only if you are experienced. I lived in that neighborhood for 4 years, so was comfortable. But on our way home we always took a taxi and did not walk (say past midnight).
