Crabs season starts.
In case you want to taste them, I would recommend restaurant at 5th floor of Central Hotel, located at 555 Jiujiang Lu (just a block south of Nanjing Lu), which is specialized for this kind of food.
If you like, you can have a full meal with all dishes crabs based.

Gotta agree with you AP. Central Hotel has some of the best crab dishes as I have had in Shanghai.

BBB's pics are informative, are not a sort of home made porn. As a matter of fact I will put a link in RoD.

Therefore, BBB is right too.

Upon my request he posted some pics and they are just a good sample of type of fun you get in that establishment.

Wow is all I can say. Just be prepared to wait on weeknights as they will come. Patience is a virtue. Went twice and satisfied both times.

1st time was vietnamese girl whose name was "mine" and she had some really nice knockers. $100 usd and all night. Most everything offered including gfe.

2nd time was with filipina bigger girl (5' 7") who was quiet in the bar. She had a short little friend (aren't most of them tiny! ) who was funny and verbose. But the tall one had me intrigued but I was scared of "lady boy" so I kept saying things to verify she was indeed not your worst dream come true. When all was said and done I had her for 2 evenings of wild fun and huge gfe. Each night $100 usd with a small hkd tip of 50 or so. Had b'fast together at mcd's even! She is a keeper and told me she had such a great time it was a bonus (she c' several times as well! )

All in all I would recommend this over all the other joints on tongren as all you do there is sit down and the girls hover over you for buying them drinks with really nothing more promised and if you do get one it is only st pretty much guaranteed.

I took taxi there the other night and they took me to the right area, however to a new bar (rickys? ) and it looked nice but was empty. Since I don't speak Chinese it was difficult. The people outside made the motion of slitting their throat when I asked them about park97.

I never had problem in connecting to ISG when in China.
I connect from my serviced apartment, from hotels or even from offices (sometimes I need to relief the stress of meetings).

Just a very quick and probably unusual question (I did not find an answer in previous report): has some of you some new information if ISG is available in Shanghai from China Internet connections? I read some different opinion in the General Threads. Just to know if I can stay connected to other ISG members by ISG or not.

Thanks for the Google Earth maps. I think its a great effort.

I would like to say that my decision to pay for the membership of this site was basically due to the dedication of the members towards their fellow mongerers, and the pitance of a membership fee as compared to the amount of money spent on endeavours learned off by this site is really nothing. Not to mention the great pics such as Bad Boys'. And if you are a novice and read one of my useless posts you might just save some money.

To those people who do read and learn from this forum and don't have a desire to post, which is fine, IMHO you should show your gratitude in that form, and trust me the simple reward of pictures alone should do you justice.

Regarding the 'Reports of Distinction' comment on some posts, I think its an automated program feature of the site based on length.

Regarding the GPS tracking project by Albert, I found this really cool program for nokia phones which allows you to track yourself while walking, or in a car via GPS (for those phones that are equipped do a google search for 'Nokia Sports Tracker') and automatically produces a google earth log file (*. Kmz). I plan to use this while I am next in Shanghai possibly around OCT 15 to 27, though I don't know how much mongering I will be able to do as I have to escort two execs. Any senior members or otherwise if you want to accompany do let me know, I'll be trying to hit the BBS and LT action.

Did you have any trouble/questions at all when you brought your camera along with you in the little bag?

I had wanted to do the same, but thought it would be a strict no no.

Absolutely no problem - just walk around the place like you own it and you will never be challenged.

My camera is a Casio Exilm - it is very small - fits easily into bag with cigearettes etc.

The girls have always been fabulous with the camera - although very 'face' shy which is understandable.

Important thing is to teach them how to use it - show both of them the pics as they take them - they have as much fun as you do and will end up doing virtually anything for you to take pics of.

Wow. I did not believe that Shanghai Forum was so well kept and usefull!

So, it was really a good surprise for me to have to carefully read the last two months reports (it took me about 1 week since English is not my mother language! ) to learn something about this city! And I did not imagine the possibility given by this city (I viseted China with my girlfriend just 6 months ago). Mhhh. I'm getting old and I'm loosing my view; )

Also finding some senior members found in other section (AlbertatBudapest f. I.) was a nice surprise.

I'll be in Shanghai around 10 of October (I'll post my full note in Travel Plans & Announcements), and I hope to be able to contribution to this forum at the level you are keeping it! Within two weeks I hope I wil be able to post it with some good news. )

Serse I only ever stay at Ramada Plaza on Nanjing Lu (4 star) or Hua Ting Towers (5 star) - absolutely no problem with the internet connection in the hotels - ISG works fine.

I will be in Shanghai Oct 9 to 132 - drop me a pm if you want a bit of company 1 night.
