I happened to be in Puxi late last night and decided to venture over to the "Pub" to see what the fuss was all about. A couple of thoughts:

1. All reports in this forum on the pub's location are accurate. Thanks to the many brothers who have contributed their stories on finding the place.
2. Pricing is as advertised in the forums.
3. I liked the 4 couch setup in the side room. I was the only one in there at 11:30PM last night, but I can see how it can get quite noisy if the whole place is full.

The girls I saw last night were very average, about 4-5 in looks. However, when the lights are turned down low, it doesn't matter how they look; it's how they perform. And, the one I picked (a 24-yo from Jiangsu) did pretty well.

Funny thing is that afterwards, we chatted. My girl said that a pack of 6 to 7 laowais had already converged on the place earlier that evening. Any of the Shanghai gang stop by for a quickie before 11:30PM?

The only bad thing about this street is that there's so much traffic. If you go in the day time, there's a lot of people watching you walk in AND out! I'm surprised all u non-chinese can get FS here for 200rmb. They usually give the laowai discount of 300rmb!

I'm in SH for a few days, and reading the various reports I opted to the sauna way and chose Yu Ping which is not far from my hotel. I went 2 days ago around 4pm. Advice I have always seen is to ask your translator to help you find a place that would provide P4P services. Maybe she could even recommend an "acquaintence" that might be able to help you relieve stress. Don't be bashful as most Asians I have ever met view these activities as human necessities and don't look down on you for going.

Chances are if she is not good to go for a couple hundred kuai, she knows somebody who is.
