I followed these instructions (posted earlier) the first time w/o problems (well, almost. I took line 2 to line 4 late one evening and line 4 was closed when I got there. Walked from the Shanghai Indoor Stadium exit on Line 2 iirc, found 'line 4 exit 3' and picked up from there). These instructions are exactly right.

Take the line 4 to the Shanghai Stadium. Exit number 3, up the stairs and keep walking straight ahead. You will pass the stadium on your right. Cross the busy road and it will be in about 200 meters on the left. Like described it has a big red "999" sign that you can’t miss.

Picked up a card and took the taxi for my other 3 visits. There is scan of one of their business cards posted here somewhere... too busy to look it up now, but it's in this forum somewhere.

I had 867, 821, 801 and 862 in that order. 801 and 862 were my favorites (my head is still spinning from the experience). Let us know how it goes and post a pic or 3 if you can.

Kinda stay on the Pudong side as my experience at the Shanghai Sauna was pretty dreadful the two times I went. BUT, I know that Sacrosa is closed, at least to foreigners, until next month for 'sweet lie. Electrical problems". World Plaza is open, been there twice, once nearly nabbed in a raid. Merrylin Hotel Sauna has been reported open and doing great business. I have seen a couple of pad locks on MPs. Funny thing is that the big nice 'legit' place across from the Marriott Courtyard on Weifang Xi Lu is closed but the pink light places are all open and knocking on the windows. All MP shops along Laoshan Lu and on Pudong Lu seem to be open as well.

This has only happened to (or for) me one other time.

From what I've seen, the crackdown is aimed only at locals, foreigners are generally ignored. Pudong was a sea of LE this evening, with 3 or 4 vehicles at most main intersections in the Dongfang Lu, Century Avenue, and Zhangyang Lu, possibly a VIP presence. I cycled through many of these groups this evening, always receiving a polite nod, wave, even in one case a salute!

I will be returning to Shanghai early next month, and read with interest that China in general has curtailed the activities of our fellow mongers. Although it appears from recent posts that that isn't true. Any crackdown on foreigners lately?

Pudong was a sea of LE this evening, with 3 or 4 vehicles at most main intersections in the Dongfang Lu, Century Avenue, and Zhangyang Lu, possibly a VIP presence. i was surprised to find my usual (very legit) foot massage parlour closed and shuttered this evening in pudian lu. most bbs's are shut down, three are open in eshan lu, but blacked out.

all higher class massage parlours in laoshan lu and weifang lu are open but doing hardly any business, almost all clients are weiguoren, the girls tell me the exit polls by le are frightening off locals. le are rep001tered over the area, dressed in civvies, but sitting on those silly looking electric bicycles with flashing red lights and sirens. le look more serious than the hordes of elderly retirees who have been riding similar bikes around pudong the past year or so!
