I am with you and that is why for the past 5 plus years I have pretty much only "partaken" at the PSE shops. For the most part sessions are pretty good to excellent, however the looks department has been waning quickly for the past year.

Yes, it is hard to get one's head around it, but as Pita said, it is a personal service gals are providing. My take on it is many are in the wrong business. Really the proliferation of oily shops has created competition for girls. Shops allow them more and more leeway in order to keep them. The "customer" is a bit down the list and is taken as a given, so to speak. One need look no farthar than the go-gos to see this in action as well. The music in most of them is horrific and I would bet the majority of customers both Asian and Western find it appalling. But, they are playing it for the gals not the customers. Your first sentence is correct, and therefore some women should not be working at certain venues. I like the shops that show on the photos what the gal is willing and not willing to do. I don't want to guess or play roulette. Service level and skill set are as important as looks to me. I am not going to buy a car without knowing what is under the hood and what options are included. Same goes for purchasing a P4P service. I live here and don't' play daily. Sometimes not even weekly, due to GF, work, etc; so when I do I want a "service guarantee."

I'd recommend Annie's, Cherry, Mango and Tulip, in that order, based on my experiences and my sense of what other forum members post. Annie's is physically old and rundown. The girls are average to above average. Annie's has a certain standard of service. BBBJ, CIM / COF, covered FS, some girls offer A-level (ask) , at least two pops. Same at Cherry and Mango, though some girls want more for a second pop. Cherry had just opened last time I was in Bangkok, so I didn't go there, but I get the impression Cherry ladies are a little better looking than Mango, but neither are as good as Annie's. In my experience, Tulip is a sure PSE, and you can find ladies there who are game for anything, and I mean anything. But some of the ladies are pretty rough looking. If you want to separate the financial transaction from the sex, as much as possible, I'd go with a high-end escort that offers real GFE. The MPs I recommend have you pay the establishment its fee. Oh, that is for sure. The PSE shops keep getting worse and worse as far as looks are concerned. Last time in Mango was frightful. Bet 75% of the gals are at least 10 kilos overweight.

I happen to like moderately overweight women. They have bigger boobs, and I like their soft feel against my hard body.

Whether a woman is attractive or not depends on more than just one thing. A woman might have an average face and a great-looking body, or the other way around. You need to look the whole woman and not just at how much she weighs.

Right. EZ will set you back 2400 plus a tip of around 500. Cherry and Mango are 800 plus a tip of around 1500. I think most experienced guys feel they have a better chance of a getting a good PSE at Cherry or Mango.

Fascinating debate. Although not a resident, I share many of the views expressed below. But the lively debate below makes me wonder. To keep with this thread's theme, is Tulip still one's best bet for a guaranteed PSE in BKK? Or is there a better alternative? The last thing I want is to find a GF. I do not mind paying the price, but when in town I want a decent place and a decent-looking provider that deliver. A real sure thing. Any suggestions?

I agree with your assessment of a large portion, probably the majority, of those falang living in Thailand. I consider these people as having fallen off the horse without the ability to get back on. Personally, I don't associate with these types. The falang I associate with, and those Thais I consider friends, work for large companies or own their own companies, live in nice homes or condos, and their wives / girlfriends would excommunicate me if I showed up with a bargirl in tow. I meet these people through work and other interests mostly, not sitting at Big Doggs watching the ladyboys pace back and forth.

I guess we all have different ideas of who the "real" falang are. This is why the whole concept of "real" falang is utter bullpuckey.

It's hard to have love and money at the same time. Most people have to make a choice between the two. And this is true even in Western countries. People who dedicate themselves to their work and careers too much often end up divorced and paying substantial child support and alimony.

It's hard to have a balanced life, when there is so much competition in the workplace. Being good at what you do isn't enough. You also have to work like a slave to impress your colleagues and superiors.

Can't say that your assessment is all that off, but in turn there are lots of farang men working both in BKK and upcountry as well who have gals with degree and jobs, who actually contribute, and I see this type of pairing more and more.

Well stated, and exactly the reason I rarely go to the "zone" in lower Suk. I have no desire to mingle with these folks. Yep, bringing a bar girl to a work function is a career limiting event, if not a career ending one.
