A couple of points to make about the responses to my post:

1. I never said either lady was not nice or kind. My post points out that both were. The sex however was unspectacular. And it is fact that has been mentioned many times that the facilities are not up to par and clearly dampen the experience.

2. Contrary to the responses I was quite kind to each of the ladies and they were with me as well and as I stated in their post both ladies did their best.

3. I paid 2000 baht for each visit-1500 to the lady and the one hour fee(I think 500 baht) to the house.

4. Many of us have had a bad experience at a restaurant and still returned thinking it was just a bad waitress or a off night for the establishement. Thus I returned to Tulip again to hope for a better experience.

5. It is impossible that every lady working their is interested when you come down the steps. Some are tired, or reading or whatever. There is not a massage parlor, soapie or red light *****house in the world where every women is interested.

My report was factual and unbiased and I gave the establishment two chances to make it right. I dont hate Tulip-it just, as the title of my post said, was a disappointment to me.

With regard to Tulips lots of the regular so called superstars have left in the meantime (left should be Nice and Dao) I think. Also Nadea I guess still works. Tulips has lost quite some people. And I have not seen a lot of report about new "superstars" so I guess it is a bit going down the hill, but it always had a good reputation for being service orientated and the girls always were good works, reputation for the shop itself (rooms etc.) always was lousy best to take them out after 9 PM if possible. How interested the ladies are depends a lot on the guy they are looking at.

If you look like an alcoholic, unclean, and unkempt, and without much money. Or if you show some disrespect with your non-verbal gestures and language. Then the massage ladies naturally will be less interested in you.

And let's face it, massage ladies do care about how sexy or unsexy a guy is even when everything else is okay about him. Massage ladies want to have some fun too, while they are working and earning their money. And with everything else being equal, they do prefer to go with the more sexy and the more handsome guys.

I know this from my own experience. One time I've walked into a massage parlor in Pattaya. And in the fishbowl there I saw a really tall, really sexy woman. She must've been well over 6 feet tall. And she was a lot taller than I was.

I liked her a lot and I wanted to take her for the soapy massage. But she avoided looking at me. And I ended up choosing another lady who boldly looked me right in the eye and clearly dared me to take her for a ride like a man.

I've been at massage parlours in Pattaya some time ago. And I've paid 1600 - 2000 baht for each massage session. I find it hard to believe that massage prices have come down this much in Pattaya now.

Perhaps you've meant that if you take freelancers who sit on the Beach Road in Pattaya, then you could get 3 ladies for 2000 baht. But this is like comparing apples and oranges. Because the Beach Road ladies get all of the money you pay them. Whereas at the massage parlour, the owner gets a big cut in addition to the lady's payment.

And I'm surprised that you've managed to have two massage sessions at Tulip Massage for only 2000 Baht. No wonder the ladies weren't enthusiastic with you. You didn't pay them enough.

As for the age of the ladies, 28 years and up sounds pretty good to me. Some of the best soapy massages I've had were with ladies in their mid-30s.

Although I have to admit, my main purpose for going to a massage parlour is to grope and massage my massage lady and give her a good ride. Her sexual willingness and her ability to give a horny guy a good ride are a lot more important to me than her massage skills are. It's global recession, banks have to make money, otherwise they cannot cope with the bonuses. As simple as that.

On a more serious note, not being linked myself to the industry, I have to admit that today banks are sweeping every cent they can to compensate the lower revenues (?) they have because

A) customers want to pay less and less

B) the gap between money in and money out has decreases, both in terms of percentage and in terms of value (5% of 100 is much less, in terms of value of 5% of 500). Margin and percentages make the shareholders happy, but salaries etc are pain in value, not in %.

C) with the electronic transactions etc, they have less ways to cash money for srevices rendered, hence they charge more fees for these transactions, to compensate the lower incomes.

If a day will ever come when they do not have employees, they will still charge fees for e-banking. Og course they are making more money this way. No doubt.

D) they can tell you that if you are not happy you can always fill your wallet with cash and so you do not have to pay their fees.

You have no clue either on how to beat the 150 baht charge? BoA charges (only) 1% foreign transaction fee with their Premiere account debit cards + the 150b, with exchange rate what you see on xe.com, or sometimes slightly better. Is there a consensus (du jour) on which Thai bank ATM to use? For cambio, the little independents. Especially Arabs. Always beat the banks and Western Unions.

I finally got around to having my first massage parlor visit in Bangkok. I typically prefer the more sleazy route of choosing street girls but this time I decided to go to the place where everyone says pleasure is guaranteed.

Of course off to the Thong Lo BTS station. As soon as you go down the steps from the platform you can see the blue and white Tulip sign. Exited the BTS and took the steps on the right side. I walked in and Tulip looked really run down as others have said before. It looks like it was an office of some kind at one time. I go back upstairs and look at the book again and say what the hell I will choose who I later found out was Jane.

I would really like to know if there is a way of finding out which cards/banks give the best value (I notice that banks just do not give out information on their charges!)

400 baht for 1 hour to the House

600 baht for 90 mins to the House.

800 baht for 2 hours to the House.

Upstairs you can do what you want but at the end give the girl 1500 baht.

Simple as that, no need to tip, no need for extra money, just 1500 baht.

That includes anal / BBBJ / Catbath / FS etc........ whatever you do, just give the girl 1500 baht AND NO NEED TO TIP ANYTHING ON TOP OF THAT.

EG :

1 hour session is 2100 baht which is 600 paid to the House when you leave, and 1500 baht paid to the girl upstairs before you leave the room.
