In the interest of further research, I decided to try Angel Massage. It was easy to find on Soi 24/1, just a bit toward Thong Lo after getting off the BTS at the Phrom Phong station. Actually, it's at the corner of an "L" shaped sub-Soi which you come to just before you reach Soi 24/1, coming from Soi 24. The sub-Soi is only about 75 meters long, and Angel is right at the corner of the "L. "

My first impression is that this is a very "business-like" operation. I was immediately shown the book of photos and it's well organized with colored markers on photos of those girls who are unavailable at the moment (yellow markers if they're busy, blue if they're not working). About half of them were unavailable (unfortunately, since that included some of my first choices). But I chose Far, and a 2-hour lotion massage. I hadn't tried a lotion massage before, and my feeling now is that it's not worth the extra cost (1000 Baht for 2-hour lotion massage vs. 800 Baht for 2-hour Oil massage). I couldn't really tell the difference from my usual Oil massage.

I ordered a Coke (only 20 Baht), and Far took me to the room (very similar to Tulip rooms. Fairly small with a shower and a bed, and that's about it). Far also seemed very business-like and left me in the room for about 3 or 4 minutes like they usually do. The drink girl came and when I tried to pay for the Coke she told me that it was on the bill (to be paid when I went back downstairs at the end). She seemed very pleasant and, since the drink was so inexpensive, I tipped her 20 Baht (hey, I'm a BIG tipper). Far returned and, without any "getting to know you" conversation she and I got into the shower. The shower was quite thorough, with everything getting some attention, but without any intimate playing around (no BJ, etc.) Then it was off to the bed for the massage.

Although we had both been naked in the shower, Far wrapped her towel around her and put on a blue "massage-technician jacket" (for lack of a better description). She then proceeded to give me a very professional massage with lots of pressure application and stretching techniques. It was good, but that type of massage always seems to hurt a bit when they get to your feet, and the whole thing lasted about a full hour. (I generally like a good massage, and this one included a bit of "balls massage, " which felt very good, and a bit of HJ, but I wasn't really there for the massage.)

Finally, she said something about "you want more? , " or "special? " or something like that, and when I said "of course, " she said "you pay an extra 1500 Baht. " I already knew that, so no problem.

At last, she took off the towel and massage technician jacket and proceeded with a bit more HJ and then, after applying the condom, started some Cowgirl action. This didn't seem to be getting me anywhere so, after 3 or 4 minutes of that, I turned her over and got into missionary position. But first I tried a bit of DATY and found that she wasn't very receptive to that (putting a hand in my way). So I proceeded with the main activity and quickly found that she wouldn't let me raise both her legs at the same time. (Perhaps I should point out that I'm 6 ft. I always feel that a less than satisfactory experience is at least partially my fault.

Conclusion: I would have been better off at Tulip or one of the good Soapies. But this was research. I'd like to hear if anyone has had a better experience at Angel.

A book? There is no book at Tulips as it exists in other Oil Massage places. It's more a kind of improvised card at Tulips, with approx. 5 pictures per row, 8 - 10 rows. And Yok is the right most girl in the FIRST ROW of pictures on the top of the card - not somewhere in the middle ... stomach ache.
