In some Oily shops, they will be just checking out massage ability and judging looks perhaps. What the girl does in the private room is up to her and not the business of management.

However this is not a large place. So lets assume you really mean places where sex is definitely provided.
The employment procedures vary and I am not totally expert but can ask the girls further.
However the girl probably must get medical checks (at the better places) and her age will be checked. Most places probably take girls 20 and up. But some have 18 and maybe younger.
When she applies she will will have to take all her clothes off and have her body checked by staff (possibly female staff).
Depending on how good her body is, and skin colour, they will decide if she should be in fishbowl, sideline, or perhaps model class. Girls with significant body problems may be rejected.
Girls with big bush will be asked to trim. Bushy pubes (or armpits) are not favoured here.

Girls with not much experience, at a soapy, may have to undergo some training so that she at least knows the very basics of the standard procedures.

I think in most MPs girls do not have to pass any sex ability test. Some will drop out quite quickly if they cannot cope.
