I've been reading here and may have missed it, but what are the prices (aside from massage) like at Tulips? Are they sign posted somewhere? Do I negotiate with the mamasan and pay her before I go in or organize the extras with the girl directly once I reach the room. I'm planning on a visit next week. If there is a sticky with this info please direct me to it and I'll RTFF.

There are two fees one pays at these sort of places. First, is the basic massage fee for the house. It runs 400,600, and 800 baht, for 60,90 and 120 minutes, respectively. Then there is the girl's fee. Historically, it was 500 baht for a hand job, 1000 for a blowjob, and 1,500 baht for full service which includes anal if the particular girl offers it. I'm not sure though whether these days the girls would accept less than 1,500 baht, irrespective of the service offered. In any event, the 1,500 baht charged for full service is relatively fixed, and does not differ depending on the amount of time chosen, or the number of times one cums.

Tipping on top of these fees is optional. Some don't do it, others might add 200 baht to 500 baht paid directly to the girl.

I pay the girl the service fee at the end of the session, and then when I am leaving pay the massage fee to the house at the front desk. Sometimes if they don't know you they will charge both fees in advance at the front desk, meaning, e. G. , 2300 baht total for a two-hour session.

The above fee schedule applies to all the PSE oily shops with the exception of Bamboo, which adds 500 baht for anal.

I must agree that the lineup is pretty bleak these days.

It certainly is not what it used to be. But it is not as bad as someone (not you) who admits he spent all of five seconds on one visit there makes it out to be. Also, and this is common sense, the better lookers often are working upstairs and cannot be counted on being in the lineup during a 5-second one-time visit.

I think you got it wrong. Tulip is a PSE (porn-star-experience) sex venue, not a massage shop.

Some girls might do an passable short massage while you recuperate between your shots, but if great massage is your priority, better go to a normal place like Healthland (they have several branches) and get a professional massage for 400 baht instead of 2100 baht.

Using "massage" as a euphemism to avoid directly mentioning various sex acts sometimes makes sense in public, but at a website like this it is beyond ridiculous, so I assume actual massage is what you're looking for.

The old guard at Tulip used to be skilled at real massage as well. That was one of the selling points. PSE sex along with a good massage if you wanted it. Ann, who retired years ago gave one of the best Thai massages I have ever had. Tom was also excellent. For me nothing is better than 30 min or so of really excellent massage between round 1 and 2. My modus operandi at oilies is usually as follows- A bit of foreplay, shower, round one with all the trimmings, quick rinse off, massage, BBBJCIM, final shower. Works for me and 90 min is just the right amount of time.

In my experience, it's somewhat rare to have both a good massage and a good sex session in a single place, with most "massage with extras" shops being bad at both, and a poor value too (it takes a dedicated no-pretense place like Tulip to deliver good sex). Given the ubiquity of regular massage places, I guess it's better to just get your sex first, and go for a proper massage afterwards.

Tulip still has decent PSE service standards, so there's no need to cherrypick. Another monger's solid experience does not mean you'll have the same type of chemistry with the girl.
