Visited Merida and Progreso for 6 weeks between November and December 2021.

Action is on Calle 58 between Calle 71 and 73 (south of downtown), that's where all the short-term hotels are. You can find action during the day here as well. There's another one around the corner, looked almost under construction, which had some cute women as well (one dressed up like a nurse hahah). Prices were in the *very* low range, I. E. 200-250 pesos all around. There were usually girls who looked hot enough to fuck. Street scene.

Calle 58 between 71-73- 8 girls, 4 spots / motels. Girls did not look good at all. Maybe 1 was ok from a distance but I didn't inquire.

The closest bar was called Cesars. 9 girls. None very good. 3-6's. 30 peso beers. Half the girls were humpty dumpty look alikes.

The places that close at 10 pm, really pick up with local dudes after 5/6 pm.

The stupid exit ticket! At the bigger clubs, they give you a ticket when you are done and ready to leave. Super annoying to get stopped when you want to walk out to verify that you paid for everything.

All in all, I would not recommend Merida. Super gay friendly city which made it odd getting stares from so many dudes.

Not much of scene here, Calle 58 towards c73 you see a bunch of street girls hanging outside some cheap hotels, Have no idea of cost as they are way to big for me and I fear they would snap me in 2.
