Hey fellas,

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, I will be visiting Merida July 20 to 24. The plan is to do the tourism thing (Merida and Mayan ruins) during the day and monger at night once or twice.

She claims that if we meet near elevator by stores within Hotel there is no problem or guest fee. But if staying overnight would have to pay. I also read that P4P is illegal within city limits of Merida on one site, but also read that it is only pimping and street walking or brothels that are illegal. I'm not a legal expert but after 10 years of mongering in Mexico my understanding is prostitution per se is illegal but that ends up being a 'technicality. ' Mexico has strong individual rights, until you're arrested and then you're guilty until proven innocent. Because it has strong individual rights a woman can do what ever she wants with her body, including renting it out. Because prostitution is illegal, pimping can result in an arrest. Street walking is not illegal as you'll see if you stroll down Calle 58 between 69 and 71. Functionally, my experience is prostitution is tolerated when done discretely and there are zone of tolerance (in Merida those few blocks of Calle 58 are a zone of tolerance). There is a fairly heavy police presence there but they will not bother you as long as your not creating a scene. As for getting around the 'guest fee' I would trust your provider. She'll know the ropes and if the hotel says anything, pay the fee. Odds are you're fine unless she spends the night. Every gal I saw that said they spoke English was way over-priced. It takes a little looking but I found decent escorts on Mileroticos starting at 600 pesos (about $32) and hot, young gals that would give multiple pops for 800-1,000 pesos for an hour. There were a few options that added to the base rate. One girl would go bareback for 300 pesos more and some girls included bareback blow jobs ('oral natural' or 'oral sin condon') and others either didn't offer it of charged more. My advice is skip the streetwalkers unless you want the experience. And fucking a Mexican SW in a cheap hotel w / o airconditioning and limited water, is an experience. Calle 58 is a zone of tolerance. It is safe, imo. Lots of police presence but not to stop the sex trade. Yes, girls are available during the day. Most of the girls are fat but a few are not. You will need to know some Spanish to negotiate what you want. I contacted Kimy and Amber using WhatsApp. Kimy does not speak any English. Amber speaks a little English. Knowing some Spanish will really help you to get what you want. You should also know that in my experience, which isn't totally complete but is beyond the beginner phase, strip clubs in Mexico seem to also be full service places.
