Morning boys,
I will be taking my first trip to Medellin at the end of January, but there was no availability at the Mansion, so I'll be staying at the Castle. Are there any differences between the two? Any pros / cons would be appreciated. I was thinking of canceling the reservation at the Castle and staying closer to Parque Lleras. Any suggestions.
Gracias.

Are the girls at the Mansion pretty GFE or are they in general quite mechanical with very little passion?

Posts: 14At the Mansion for thanksgiving week.
I will be at the Mansion for the thanksgiving week. Would love to do some non-monger activities and also check out the scene outside of the Mansion. How is the scene at Mansion now? I haven't been here in a few years.

How much you can withdraw depends on your bank. My bank allows up to $800/ day for withdrawals. I can't imagine needing more than that.
How much you can withdraw per transaction depends on the ATM. Servibanca allows up to 780 k pesos per transaction, Davivienda allows 720 k.

Posts: 70Safety of ATM and money exchange
So, I've done a little research with the help of some of you on this thread. I was considering purchasing COP from my bank and bringing pesos with me instead of using ATM's or money exchange. However, my bank is only offering 2,500 pesos per usd. So, I think ATM or money exchange is the way to go. How safe is it to frequently use ATM machines and money exchange. Also, what's the maximum I can withdraw?

The girls are WAY hotter (less flab). The neighborhood is upper middle-class by American standards while Costambar is OK but a bit boring except it has an OK beach. The Mansion itself is a bit more "cozy" if you like hanging out there. Both have decent facilities but the Mansion has better decor. Interestingly, they both have tiny bars but Blackbeards is upstairs (The Crow's Nest) while Hotel M's is downstairs (Charlie's Angels).
Also they both are in areas where the girls and the noise can't be TOO outlandish because of the non-partying regular neighbors. The Mansion is surrounded by taller buildings on a hill so no naughty stuff allowed outside like the Blackbeard's Bikini Contest.
Also, the air is thinner and the Mansion is on a steep hill so if you are not in shape then that will take its toll on you unless you taxi everywhere. There are less guys at the Mansion and it is far more common for guys there to order in chicas they've met outside the Mansion and / or online. Speaking of ordering out, Casa Blanca has a kitchen with a small (wonderful) staff and your breakfast is included in the price of accommodations. Plenty of delivery options available too but be sure to order your food one hour before you are hungry. Trust me.
In Costambar at Blackbeards there is a seated restaurant area next to the poolside bar. Only coffee is free but the menu is surprisingly varied. Some nearby restaurants on the beach and in the pueblo too (Sole Mio, etc.).
Blackbeards has terrible, awful water pressure in the showers and the rooms are OK. Casa Blanca has good water pressure and hot water and the rooms are OK.
Back to the girls.
Blackbeard chicas will hound you for citas (especially "Happy Hours"). Mansion chicas will not except down in the bar after a couple of drinks but still nowhere near as in your face as Blackbeards chicas. GFE (IMHO) is better at the Mansion but it varies. Blackbeards chicas are mostly all business but a few are really GFE if they like you.
Dominicanas (IMHO) are superior with oral (far superior) and have natural curves (especially up top). Paisas have less excess fat and are FAR more beautiful (again, IMHO) and to be honest are clearly better educated than their Dominican sisters. Most of the Colombian girls come from slightly better economic / educational backgrounds than the Dominicans as far as I can tell. Plus, plastic surgery is a second religion in Colombia but the results are sometimes amazing. The chicas wear fake braces in both countries.
The key difference is between the two areas.
The Mansion is in an upscale area of a medium/ major city with shopping malls, traffic, etc. Blackbeards is in a sleepy, guarded beach community with not much to offer away from the compound except beach stuff and motoconchos.
There is a whole lot more but those are just some of the differences that I can think of.

Rooms are comparable, furniture that's due to be replaced, pretty basic in both spots.
Girls, in my opinion are better looking at Mansion. To me it isn't even close, but maybe I was at Blackbeard's at the wrong time.
Advantages to Blackbeard's:
Restaurant on site.
Tag team BBBJ in the Jacuzzi.
At most 3 flights of stairs between the girls and your room.
Overall girls seemed a bit friendlier.
Advantages to the Mansion:
Short, cheap taxi ride from anything you could want.
Better looking women.
Lots of nearby restaurant options.
Patrons seemed a little more sociable.

Posts: 3359I have a Schwab brokerage account. I do not have a Schwab bank account. I get free ATM withdrawals world wide. My response to you was mostly tongue in cheek, meaning obviously whatever account you are taking the money out of had to have money put into it at some point.
