I decided to pass on Cagayan de Oro City this last trip. Just no strong reason to go there. I did ask my daughter what she thought of the Mallberry Hotel here and she said she was disappointed in it. Did not think it was much of a hotel. As the best Hotel in CDO this is a sad reality. I have stayed at a few other hotels here when I visited long ago and they were terrible. GoodEnough told me not to even think about trying some other hotel here.

The primary problem is that few westerners visit here. The city has a small ex-pat community but they are mostly retired and living on pensions. The only time I ever saw another foreigner here was when I stopped in Spooks Club. And this is the only place in CDO that I heard any ex=pats sitting on the Don Felipe terrace in Ormoc City, Leyte mention. These guys are not staying in hotels here.

The employees of the hotels come from outlying provinces where they sleep on a dort floor. Only about one third of the Staff of the Mallberry Hotel speaks any english at all. The rest are totally ignorant of the language. You really DO need a ton of patience when staying here. The comments you will get from the waiters and other staff are enough to have you totally insutled or furious with their fucking stupidity.

The Mallberry Hotel has a General Manager that is a very attractive Filipino Chinese lady who, naturally, speaks fluent english. But the impression I get is that she is at the top but each department is an autonomous unti over which she has little control. When I sent one of my new, designer shirts to Laundry and it did NOT get returned to me, I first had an argument with a very rude, fat woman who was in charge of laundry. A complaint to the Hotel GM did nothing. It is still under investigation TEN MONTHS LATER.

The new swimming pool must be just for show. I am aware of no one who has ever actually gone swimming there. One of GE's pals tried to bring his wife and two children swimming there but the asshole in charge of the pool tol him he had to pay something like 500 pesos to do this. When told that he was a hotel guest, the Poll Asshole told him this made no difference. My daughter tried to go swimming in this pool two days in a row. Each time, inspite of the pool being empty of swimmers, she was told NO. It was to be reserved for a private function. I had spoken with the Hotel GM about my daughter wishing to use the pool and she said,"of course, any time she wants, she can go swimming".

I am just totally fed up with this fucking hotel. WIth it being the best place to stay in CDO, I prefer to avoid the City. I honsetly believe that the fucking Staff suffer from the belief that all wasterners are rich and they must pay more for everything. My daughter speaks fluent vasayan but looks like a westerner with white skin and blonde hair. So I think the Pool Jerkoff decided she should not go in HIS swimming pool.

I understand that Barba said this was the worst hotel he ever stayed in when he visited here in May. I did not hear from him on his time here so I do not know how it went. I like the City but unless I have a really hot lady to see here, I will pass. The Clubs with the girls dancing nude are fine but it will take more than this to get me here.

My daughter did not have much to report. She dines out nightly as she was with the huge, wedding party for her younger uncle's (mother's youngest brother) wedding inwhich she was a bridesmaid. She cruised the Limkatkai Mall and tried to swim in the pool on two separate days but was told it was unavailable. Pool is just to look at I guess. She did see a lot of the City which I never venture to as I do not know any of the affluent people living here like the Family her uncle married into. Most of her meals were at one of their homes.

Sent me a lot of photos on Facebook and I was amazed at all the beautiful women at the wedding. Also the lovely homes and the place where the Reception was held. A far cry from Carmen or Argao where I went to meet CDO laies I was seeing. Even if I was in the Philippines, there is no way in heaven or earth I would have been invited. Daughter or not, supporting and paying the high tuition of the other cousin of my daughter also, has no impact on them. I am a "White faced" Foreigner who they have to tolerate where they live as I built a home there for my daughter and her mother by the ocean. It comes in handy at fiesta time for dinners and parties and overnight Faimily, especailly since I had A / C installed.

Needless to say I have long since decided to ignore the entire matter and be realistc, I did, however,"pull the plub" on paying the tuition for my daughter's cousin who lives in my home inspite of having her own Parents (choice between a nice, big house with a / see, televisions and dvds and formal dining room where decent food is cooked and served nightly, or the tine dump her parents have).

In any event, I digress. I will return to CDO again as I want to see the Lady from the last trip and also a few more I have met on the internet when taking breaks from my work. I like this city. And if I am alone at night, I have a good three dozen Clubs to visit with plenty of women dancing nude. Expensive to take out but I can alwyas do a "VIP Fuck" for P 1, 500 or have the Lady come by my Hotel after closing.

My teenage daughter has just returned home from three days / nights in CDO. She was in a large wedding party held there; one of twelve bridesmaids. Had to have been one hell of a wedding! She stayed at the Mallberry Hotel and did check out the Likkatkai Mall and the Rosario Blvd Restaurant Arcade. Told me there were plenty of beautiful, young women around for my friends.

I did not get her opinion yet of the Mallberry Hotel. She had only eaten there once and on Thursday night she hungout in the Lobby Restaurant listening to the live music for 30 minutes. Had to be awake at 04:30AM as, with 12 bridesmaids, the Bride and Maid of Honor plus the Mothers of both Bride and Groom, the Beauticians began at 05:00AM. She tried to see the Hotel Genral Manager to say Hello, but she was never around any on the numerous times she went to her Office. She tried twoice to use the swimming pool with her cousins and both times was told the Pool was "reserved" (for whom who the fuck knows).

Her opinoin is that Cagayan de Oro is nice, safe and a fun place to visit. She speaks fluent english, vasayan and tagalog. But she does not look at all like a filipina; tall, slender, light brown, almost blonde hair to her waist and porcelain white skin. She would have stood out in the Hotel and anywhere she went. But she told me she had no trouble and enjoyed the trip.

I keep thinking about the old,"deserted" mansion out by the highway that the taxidriver took me to that one time. Had to be a reason he did this. I wonder if like in Manila back in the 60's and 70's this could be one of the old mansions used for holding orgies and making porn movies. I mean, what the fuck was he thinking in bringing me to this place? I did NOT look like a man seeking a prayer service at 10:00PM and although I did not have "Horny Guy" tatooed on my forehead, I think he knew I was out trolling for Hot, Young, CDO Pussy.

So unless he had some really bizarre ideas as to what foreigners do after 10PM on a weeknight when they go out, I think this was a Place for Sex! I could have had him wait and gone up and knocked on the door. But the place was back from the road 100 meters, surrounded by large trees. From my view it was dark and very, very creepy. I could only think of some the horror films I have seen (the really good ones like "The Ring", that scare the dick off you). I sort of felt like if I
were to venture to the front door and knock, some weirdly, creepy woman would open it, invite me in and I would never be heard from again. The fact that there were no lights on anywhere and it was off the highway, outside the citylimits did not help with my feeling of trepitude.

In CDO there are at lest two dozen Clubs offering young, gorgeous, big titted pussy. I have only been to half a dozen of them but I was impressed. Most of the girls speak little or no english but they are all available to telephone and have them come by to blow / fuck you in your hotel room. The worst part is that barfines were always P 3, 000. P 3, 500 and the girls always wanted P 2, 000 to come by my hotel for a few hours or serious fucking. These prices in one of the poorest cities in the Philippines. Most of these girls never see anyhere near this kind of money, except when my pal, Horny Al, stops by.

I noticed in the Clubs that the Filipino men all arrange for the ladies to fuck them in one of the Private Rooms inside the Club. I never tried this but I heard it cost from P 1, 000 to P 1, 500. The girl is told to go into a room where a man is waiting for her. Some of the guys I saw arranging this with the manager looked really slimy. But the girl has no say in this and she simply goes in and does what he wants. If he does not want to use a condom, that is not a matter for her to complain either. Unless she wants to lose her job or resign like my Lady did who I ended up having a brief, very romantic affair with last year. It ended when she saw photos in my digital camera of Annabelle in Davao blowing me graciously. She just could not get over the realization that I needed to get blown / fucked by other women. SAD!

On the online ticket purchase Cebu Pacific is getting better at this. I have found that Cebu Pacific is getting their act together and I now prefer them to PAL for domestic flights at least. I purchase my tickets online using a mastercard on a US Bank.

When you go here in Cagayan de Oro you need to bring patience with you. Very few westerners come here and they have no fucking idea how to behave around us or how to deal with us. Most people here in Cagayan de Oro come in from outlying provinces to find work. This includes the girls dancing in the two dozen clubs here. They lived and may still live in huts with no electricity, running water or toilet. They sleep on dirt floors often and the children receive little or no medical care. It is a tough life and we need to bee patient with then.

I have infinite patience with animals and children but very little with adults. A friend pointed this out to me only yesterday. In CDO taxi cabs will often get lost as they may have just started working and do not know the City. Have the guys in front of the Mallberry Hotel instruct them as to where you want to go. I once had a driver take me out to the highway to some old masnion which looked deserted (who knows what goes on inside the place). He thought this is where I asked to be taken.

Remember what I said about the Airport and the guys there looking to rip you off. Go straight ahead, ignoring them, to the taxi line for a metered taxi. Tell him to take you directly to your hotel and no detours. To the Mallberry the fare is now around P180 after the fare increase. Do not pay 300 or more like these guys want.

I did my banking in CDO twice. Went directly to the Bank Manager each time, gave a big smile and a polite request for assistance and I was given very good service. Just had to be a bit patient. Now with the ladies here that you meet all kinds of "adventures" can arise. If you read my posts here you know that I have met all kinds here. Still, it is fun and I enjoy this City.

I have an HSBC Mabuhay Miles VIsa Card and cannot book on PAL.

I have been to the main PAL ticket office in Makati to try to sort it out and they say it is an HSBC problem. When I show them how my card works for both Cebu Pacific and Qantas but not PAL they are then nonplussed, as it cannot be HSBC's fault.

I use Cebu Pacific by preference now, unless my ticket is booked by my employer hehe.

Very weird. I use a Citibank gold visa for PAL and don't have any problems but the one time I tried it for Cebu Pacific it wouldn't work. It's a locally issued card, so you would think it should work for both. Of course I try to avoid Cebu Pacifc if I can, so I really don't care if it doesn't work for that site.

Very helpful. Based on your feedback I'm leaning towards CDO, since I like both clubs and malls. My experience in Cebu last time was that the only balls required were of the anatomical variety. Due to overbooking, I spent far more time politely refusing invitations from various ladies in Ayala than actively hunting. Got to love this country!

What are you going there to do? If you DO enjoy going out after 9:00PM at night to Clubs where the girls will get totally nude onstage and will blow / fuck you in a Private Room there for P1000. 1500, Cagayan de Oro City is your spot. Do you enjoy cruising a Mall during the day and walking up to lovely, young women? Ask yourself also if you have the balls to do this (not hard actually). IF Yes, either City if for You but more of this in Cebu City. In CDO you will need to be at the Mallberry Hotel so you can walk to the Mall and the 50+ Restaurants there (La Vetta is by far the best and the only one close to "fine dining; albeit not fine dining").

Both cities have thousands of lovey, young women available. I do far better in Cebu City than I have ever done in Cagayan de Oro City (nine (9) Threesomes at the one Mall there alone; but who's counting!). Cagayan de Oro will bring you close to the primitive, native girl. They come in from the near and distant provinces where they sleep on dirt floors, eat what they can find and have no electricity, running water, toilet. These women can be interesting. It is a fast flight on Cebu Pacific from either Manila or Cebu to CDO; many flights daily. I got my ticket online using my US Mastercard this Trip. One thing I have noticed now is that Cebu Pacific has vastly improved in service. The renovated Ticket Office at Robinson's mall, Fuente Osmena, Cebu City, is very efficient now. On numerous occasions I bought my ticket here and then proceeded to tind myself a ThreeSome to bring back to the Hotel.

To Note: ALL my Threesomes are two (2) girls aged 18. 29 and Myself. This Spring I plan to embark on my 3rd trip to PI. I'll be spending a few days in Palawan with a little hottie who made my last day in Manila a real treat. However, I do like variety. I've been to Cebu once before and really enjoyed it, and was thinking about returning for a few days. Then again, I have never been to Cayagan De Oro before, and am wondering if something new is in order.

What was the trick? I have never been able to buy via Cebu Pacific's website. Always get my card rejected at the last phase of the process. Never had this problem with Philippine Airlines.

Interestingly I have the reverse problem. Simple for me with CPac but impossible with PAL.

Also with PAL it used have a rule that if you bought the ticket for another person (eg a cutie) and did not turn up at the same time to collect it at the airport etc she had to have a copy of your credit card with her. Crazy!

CPac more relaxed as I have bought countless tickets for my Cebu favourite (and will do again soon) and we love flying the carrier
