Most of the people who would follow this thread have already been there. So the question would be,"what if anything has changed or is going to change?" Or, what has improved? If you have never been there at any time more than a year ago, then you probably can't answer this question...

OBTW, Victor is the head chef. My favorite dishes are his seafood paella with large shrimp and langostinos (too much for one person) , grilled sea bass with teriyaki and wasabi, and the ahi tuna when it's available.

Also, I would ask you (with respect) that you state if you work for Oxygen, or are close friends with the owner. There is nothing wrong if you are, but it needs to be stated openly so that others can understand the context of your remarks. Also, if you do work there, admitting so would allow you to be more open about why you know what you know, which goes a long way to credibility.

In regards to "what makes a good posting," that discussion could take up a whole thread. I will state briefly my personal humble opinion about what makes a good posting (in general) about a given venue. I am sure that others will chime in.

What is the overall quality of the girls? What is their ethnic background? Do they give good service, or were you unhappy with it and why? What is the layout like, and what is the vibe? What are the costs, including cover charge, drinks, bar fines, etc. How do you get there? Is it safe? Any other tips that you may have discovered that could be helpful for first-timers there.

Again, this is just my opinion, but I generally don't like the 'blow by blow' field reports that many people post, especially when they are accompanied by explicit pictures. Sometimes they are done well, but mostly they just read like amateurish conquest bragging, which is ironic since I would think that paying for it makes it, by definition, NOT a conquest.

Have you been there as a customer, or do you know the owner and are hyping the place? If you are truly as "straight up" as you sound like you want to be seen, then truthfully say so. Nobody cares what you say until you establish that. Man up.

I have to have the backs of the Pro Oxygen crowd. I went twice back in 2008 had a great time. It is expensive, but I thought worth it. The ownership change does have me worried, I hope the quality of chicas is still high end, young, hot, and unjaded. I'll try to post some pics.

You are missing the point. The problem with his report is exactly that there are few, if any details. It totally does read like a brochure. Personally, I probably would not have attacked him openly. It's not my style. But I was definitely thinking the same thing, and would have just ignored his post. The forum has gained enough notoriety that providers start posting B. S. The same way that there are B. S. Reports on Tripadvisor. You have to read it with a baseline level of suspicion...

This is my first post but I have lurked here for several years. Although I would not necessarily consider myself one of Epictetus' "better men", I have not contributed reports because of the way reports like Epictetus' have been received.

I have been to Oxygen seven times and I can tell you that the report he gives and those of Sexmetv and a few others I can't recall, are accurate. If anything, they don't go far enough to convey how much fun The place is.

Oxygen is not for everyone. I'm not trying to say that you are too cheap or that you are getting an inferior "product". I admire the skills you more experienced mongers have. I just prefer to go a different route.
