L.K. Metro in central Pattaya

Not enough time for a full detailed report, but I wanted to post something as a thanks to those that responded to PM requests for information, and of course all the information available here for anyone intrepid enough to RTFF before traveling to Pattaya.

I stayed in the Sandy Spring Hotel on Soi 13 alley, in between Beach and 2nd roads. I liked the location, as it was a bit away from the go to areas so was quiet, but easy to walk half a block in either direction to either run down Beach Rd to Walking Street or up 2nd to Soi 6 area or beyond with a 10 THB baht bus ride. Hotel was excellent for me. Great rooms, great staff. They take a lady's ID of course. I coordinated with them to have some gals I made arrangements with to meet me at the hotel so I didn't pull them from their places even; worked out quite well. Nice massage places near the corner of 2nd, I ended up pulling a YL (well, maybe not that young, LOL) from one for LT one night. Recommended location. Walking to the Soi LK Metro area was a matter of 10 minutes stroll; all the babes I pulled were OK walking back to my hotel from there.

So I ended up each evening hanging out in the LK Metro area. It runs out that this location fits my style pretty much perfectly. Inexpensive beers and lady drinks. Super friendly. Lots of beer bars with FL or semi-FL gals, plus go-gos if you are into that (sometimes I'm in the mood), and of course the Devils Den if you want to get nasty. I was totally satisfied with the amount and selections available (although since I am now older than dirt, younger mongers may find the talent to be overripe for their tastes, YMMV). Can confirm barfine of 500-700 for most bar venues. 700-900 for go-gos I stopped in, 1000 for ST, and I paid 2000 for all-nights (my preferred style these days). All in all, I was pretty happy and would recommend both the Sandy Spring hotel and the LK Metro area for visiting punters; Walking Street before midnight just has too many gawking mainstream tourists for my taste. So. I'll be back for sure.

I visited a good number of them but can only remember some points about a few. Ninja Agogo clearly caters to Japanese customers but the talent is very bad with very few beautiful ladies. Big disappointment. The office Agogo also the same. Just a few ladies not even worth looking at. Clearly in my eyes, the one with the best talent was Bachelor club Agogo. All the ladies were all natural and young. I visited most of the rest but it all became a big blur after. Here's what happened. The first one I stayed at for a beer was Bachelor Club Agogo bar. The talent was excellent. Most ladies with all natural bodies. I spotted a 20 year cutie and asked the server to go and get her. Then it started again with this ladydrink question. Telling me I must buy her a drink and very rude behaviour. I'm asking myself, who in their right mind would invite a lady over and not buy her a drink? Ridiculous! Eventually she came over and sat with me. She's ordered a coke. We were having a pleasant conversation and I was about to order more drinks and then she got up and left saying she would be back after her dance. She was very cute with natural see cups and a very nice ass and no baby. I was just about to buy some shots and bar fine her. Instead I paid for the 2 drinks and left. All along the side there were other ladies sitting playing their phones. It was like they were only aloud to dance and sit. Very crazy for a bar with such great talent.

Next after looking in the Office and some others, I settled into Paradise Agogo. Saw two all natural A cup spinners and invited one over for a drink. Funny but had the same deal about ladydrinks again. Must be a new trend. We started chatting and all was good. I motioned to the other girl to come over as well. I wanted to buy a bunch of shots for the three of us and see where that would take me. Either a duel lady barfine or choosing one out of the two. However the second girl just looked at me with a black stare. I asked the server to bring her over and there was no answer. Finally talked to the manager and he tried but alas no luck. Who knows what the hell was going on. He gave me a story about her having another customer but there was none to be found. At this point I paid and left. I was beginning to think there was something wrong with me. In Bangkok I normally have no issues with the ladies in the Gogos, very strange. I went into another and sat down forgetting the name but at this point I was already done so after one beer, I left for walking street.

My overall opinion of LK Metro is not good. I'm not sure if any of the bars there are extremely successful. All I know is the vibe is very dull with no atmosphere and very rude staff. Walking Street is much better and more customer friendly in my eyes.

Did not know that about that Soi. I love finding out shyt like this about a place. It surprises me too that a lot of Thais
don't know the goings on and history about the freaking place! There is such an underground in Pattaya its chilling!


Can anybody give info about Thai mafia tattoos on some of these girls backs? Something about owe money or family debts?

I narrowed my hotel choices to Pasadena Lodge and LK Metro Apartments. Upon arrival I checked in to Pasadena Lodge. 800 bt for the standard room compared to 1000 for the Superior. The Superior room is smallish and the standard room is small. The the theécor is trendy and pleasant, the place is clean and holding up not too bad for the wear and tear that it gets. The wifi is good. I asked to have my room made up when I went out and 2 hours later it was not done. The explanation was that 'they are not finished yet'.

I'm not happy with the hot water control. After much fiddling I get the temp just right. A minute later it fades to cool. I barely touch it to adjust and nearly scald myself. Every time. There is a digital safe in the room. That's good because the door latch and lock on the room is the kind that can be opened with a thin plastic card. There is no safety lock inside the room either. Tomorrow I'm moving to LK Metro Apartments.

The nightlife is plentiful. I had a truly excellent dinner in the Stag's Head. Drank beer, played pool, barfined a very naughty lady from a beer bar. We stopped in Champagne Agogo on our way to the room. The show at 11 pm (near as I can remember) was very good and those who report tired old washed up dancers need to come see this. A few were just fucking stunning.

Earlier at the beer bar, I remember a point of just sitting back drinking my drink and taking it in. You really do not need to leave this area. It's the low season and it's all in our favor right now so get yourself over here and get back to mongering! I'm going back out there tonight.

I feel sorry for the many young, beautiful women that have to deal with these men on a regular basis. And, I've met some really nice women, just aching to meet a good man (who smells good).

Young beautiful women in Pattaya are not 'aching' to meet any Westerner, only to relieve them of as much cash as possible. Go there and have fun with them, treat them nicely if they do the job well and adopt a good attitude, put on some decent clothes and don't look like a fucking vagrant, but for God's sake don't be one of those sad bastards who thinks the girls actually LIKE us.

Well said. I see many first timers going there and falling in love. Yes, not all are bad. There's always a diamond in the rough, but 99% of them are only see cash.

For some things you just have to have been there or know the area. LK is short for Soi LK Metro, which is a street off of Soi Diana. WS is short for Walking Street.

I've stayed at the Pasadena Lodge in LK for my last few visits and will be doing so again next month. Good rooms, lovely service and reasonable prices.

I like it as it is usually quiet after 2am and therefore after the performance from the nights barfine an undisturbed sleep is welcome.

The quality of the go-go's does vary but I usually bring a girl back from WS, I've yet to try the new one, Office in LK.

There are some good Thai places to eat (the best is opposite Liquid) and some good places that do a farang breakfast and it's an easy walk to Dream Teen for a naughty afternoon massage.

Women don't like "farang?" Not true in all cases. But, the longer a woman strays in the "game," the more jaded she becomes of butterfly men and "jow shuo."

Just remember, just because it is temporary does not mean it is not sincere (to some degree).

There are plenty of nice women working in Pattaya who would make good girlfriends. Just be careful who you choose to woo. There's lots of little cobras out there on motorbike taxis coming your way.

Presently, I'm sitting in a coffee shop in Soi LK Metro pecking away on my laptop. This little district is really up and coming. If you've never spent any time here, I suggest checking it out the next time you're in Pattaya.

And, by the way, the food at the Stag's Head (across from two new go-go bars) is very, very good.

I'm headed that way on the 23rd for a few days to check out that very district and currently searching for a room. I know there is a Patts Hotel thread but if anybody wants to recommend here, this thread might actually revive.

I'm thinking I don't need to spend more than 1000 even though I certainly could. I want clean, comfortable, quiet enough to sleep and good wifi.
