Stalking a 60 year old? Hmmm. Doubt it was her looks. She had money. That's what counts in the DR.

I have not seen any new information on the murdered American lawyer Art Tarlow.
That is a trajedy. We should stick together, take action and advise each other to prevent assault or murder of gringos from becoming more commonplace. So far on this and other forums all I have heard is that Sosua and Cabarete are carefree, low risk, and that mongers who are assaulted (as I was) probably had it coming to them. Some advice I have would be to carry pepper spray. Simple. Overkill? not if you don't want to BE killed. BTW tasers are legal.

You are misinformed. Dominicans are very racist towards Haitians and skin coloe is very important. That is well known. There are no race laws in DR. In fact, the cedulas are issued according to 3 types of skin color. Light, Brown and Black. Guess what the prefeered color is? Show me one billboard in the DR advertising a product with a dark skinned model. Just trying to inform you of a fact, not trying to argue with you.

To each his own, for every color struck Dominican or extranjero who wants lighter skin there are others who prefer dark. Its just that after going there a few times you learn that that is not he place to get dark meat.

Orchidee was the most liberal. It's next to Rocky's. Ben is the manager. I rented an apartment with a locked gate and eat-in kitchen for $900/mo. I had like 8 (eight) Haitian chicas in my apt at once all evening (everything was locked up no worries). He prefers that doesn't happen much, but does bend the rules if the girls are not loud. He even tolerates police coming in if a girl need an escort out.
The internet ROCKS. Twice as fast as NG or any other place and it never goes down. The pool is essentiallly a large jacuzzi with cold water and no bubbles.

Some of the Sosua chicas are starting to lose their shit cause the competition is so fierce. What she is really saying is that she has had so little luck fucking gringos in the last seven months that you should have called her so she could have laid it on thick, hoping that you would send money or come back sooner.
lolololol. 200% correct!. LOL. You know them too well. I was thinking the same thing.

It's all in the moment. That said, 200 after 10pm pesos and they're in for 2 hours no more.
