Frannie questioned indirectly my gramar and lack of writing skills. I was rebellious at first but soon realized I had to up my game. Now I see I have to adjust. My eariler posts I had a situation with pics and names where I got blamed by all parties, I had to learn, and I did.

Please step back and evaluate yourself. Learn your lessons and move forward. I thought you understood this. The lesson is not to blame everyone else and act like we are all your enemies. I am not that.

Why don't all of the ones who think I have something to learn, take a step back and look at yourselves in the mirror. Be careful with Dominican taxi drivers. Some taxi drivers will try to rip off a foreigner. I know from personal experience and I have read numerous posts where foreigners had problems with some Dominican taxi drivers.

How can I hate you when I've never even met you? All I know of you are your posts. But I do see you, from those posts, as being quick to take offense, and reluctant to let it go. I see you letting your emotions run away with you. I see you acting quite immature, feeling very sorry for yourself, and blaming others for consequences you've brought upon yourself.

I don't hate you, I don't even hate that behavior. But I do believe you can do better. I believe you could start by asking yourself how you could have done better.

I found the Santo Domingo thread of ISG one of the most informative and useful of any I follow on this and other boards. It was free of bullshit and personal confrontations until you started posting. I suggest you check out the Dominican Today forum, you would feel right at home on that free for all.

I don't believe you are hated on this board. Every monger has a right to post on this board. Whatever is posted will be scrutinized and discussed. Many guys took your side when you first posted about Bar X.

Whenever I go Dominican Republic I make myself available so that I can meet other mongers from this board. I have NEVER had a problem with any guys that I have met from this board. I have become good friends with guys from this board and I trust them 100%.

I will be in SDQ in September, my offer for the two shots of tequila still stands. The lobby bar in the Intercontinental V Centenario Hotel has decent tequila and it is an open and public place with good security, in case you are scared about meeting a fellow monger.

You are misinformed. I would be very very careful what you say cause that's a big accusation "buddy". I have a credit of 12K from the Haiti Mansion. Bad Bear has 12K and I am still waiting for him to return it. He was a monger I trusted. Of course, I don't judge anyone for the things I read here, I met 7 guys in my last 2 trips who were mongers like myself and our trips became more enjoyable due to our shared interests. I think I would trust a monger before trusting a local in any country I visit. There are very few exceptions.

In Classico it's very risky cause there is only one exit for that huge number of people and if shit really hit the fan (firefight), good luck. Security taps your belt and that's called a search. No metal detectors. Safe to say there are lots of guns everywhere in Road with itchy trigger fingers.

I totally agree. My friend said that having a car will help escape faster but truth is that most places lacks of adequate parking. I went to 305 with two forum members and we had to wait for 5 cars to be moved out off the parking to take out our car and this ocurred under a heavy rain.

I think you should spend a day or two there and come up with your own assessment, as there are some things that might or might not bother you. I stayed at the Riazor and I did not like it, just my opinion that for that price I should at least get wi-fi in the room.

I did spend one night at the jaguar back in July and there is construction going on as was mentioned. For that reason, they kept my room key at the front desk just in case the construction people needed it. I do not know why they would need to enter my room and I did not ask. Maybe they had lost the room key and could only use the master key. I had to call the guy in the lobby to lock my door whenever I left, and have him unlock it whenever I returned. Upon checking in they did not tell me this, so I ended up staying in my room for over one hour waiting for someone to bring my key, only to find out later they would keep it the whole time.

The wireless internet did not work. Luckly the owner was there and he brought me a lan cable for the wall plug. He seemed very helpful and corteous. I did not bring any women into the jaguar that night, so I cannot explain if they are relaxed about that kind of stuff. The owner's family was there thru the day, so I cannot imagine what would happen if I decided to make it obvious I was banging pros.

The owner has no problem with mongers and I sat there with a friend chicking out chicas on the chat rooms with his big screen linked to his computer. The internet there was flaky and I did need to leave for that reason only. No problems at all bringing in chicas day or night.

Helpman I hope that Jaguar is not your turf. If so, my apologies for discussing it.

If something occur then you have a method to move away the area fast.

There is such a large number of discos and they are all packed on Saturday. The Last night I hung out with a group of dominicans at a birthday party for 5 hours on the sidewalk; not a single problem excpt for alot of Haitian kids begging. But I would imagine that the shit can hit the fan big time if a shooting occurs. As a matter of perspective, there are many discos larger tha Classicos in sosua. And in Sosua, there is a fight in or around Calassicos every other night. Thats the bigger fights where a crowd gathers; not the smaller incidents where a few putas are thrown in jail. If you travel with a taxi driver he will be more than glad to hang with you and have a few beers. I would stay near the exits.

In Club Secrets last year a guy entered with 2 guns, shot someone, dropped the gun and left. 5 seconds. Nobody in their right mind would say that any given disco in the DR is completely safe, particularly a strip of them.
