I can do a 5 day trip to DR for less then some folk pay for a flight to there destination and be there in 7 hours. I always have great time and this budget allows to do 5 or more trips a year. I just got back and have a trip booked for August. Flight on American 350 to POP. Best price I have ever seen from BWI. I just did SD with chicas I know and had a very good time. Having women you know and are comfortable with you is a great situation. I would love to do some other spots but I am still in love with the DR. It has my kind of women, great music, beaches and everything is cheap. I live like a king there.

I got a 100 dollar deal to Santo Domingo on spirt from BWI two weeks ago 138 with taxes. It was a red eye though.

I flew from DC to Nairobi on Ethiopian Airlines on a 16 hour flight with a four hour layover. Kenya Airways has a Nonstop from New York to Nairobi that's 13 hours Ethiopian set me back 656 dollars. However I would pay more to fly another airline than Ethiopian. Addis Ababa is one of the worst places to have a layover Their Flight Attendants are all dimes but no wifi and small seats are a killer with a 13 hour flight.

Usually the Arab Airlines Ethiad Egypt Air are better. But you can defenitely get to the east coast of Africa for under 700 or even 600 if you plan ahead.

Yeah the DR is my spot, but that new adventure still excites me also. It's funny but most people I know who only did the Dominican Republic pre covid-19 are now saying they wished they had went to Colombia or the Philippines. But as Mr E said " If you only do one spot you don't have anything to compare it to".

Flights can run 3 k to 5 k easily for 24 hours and 2 connections. The 1500 usd flights take 30-40 hours and 3 or more stops. Found a flight from Dulles in DC direct for 1200 usd (10 hours) in March but the airline has major financial problems. So just feeling my way through and dodging covid-19 for now.

That makes sense. I'm at an apartment right now it's kinda eh I don't know if it's a dominican thing but they only seem to give you one set of sheets and expect you to clean it yourself. In a country that's known for sex tourism you'd think that even for a one night stay there would be six sheet sets and 20 towels. I could ask to rent this place for awhile but I'd rather be back near zona colonial.
