Rumba: Upgrade from an empty lot.

Sosua bay hotel: Closed.

Seacrets: Closed.

Classicos: Closed.

Club X: Closed.

Merengue: Closed.

BQ asked me last night what happened to shoes. She just had a baby and lives in Puerto Plata. We haven't fucked in a couple years but still email monthly. As we drive from RSJ to Sosua I realize it's a few things I want to do that I haven't done yet. I want one night in my bed alone, and I want to get my drink on, close down all the clubs then stagger to NG solo. Maria's not going to condone this plan. This is the girl I wrote about previously fighting girls in Classicos, and ambushing me at the airport.

Last year after a good trip she wasnt going to let me forget that I promised her an iphone. I had gone to four roses for a few final beers with my luggage and someone tipped her off. Then she snached my 200 dollar Versace sunglasses off my face, broke them in half, and started stomping on them. I had a plane to catch, plus everyone was pointing and laughing at me. As I turn and walk away the girl jumps on my back like a monkey. It took three dominican baggage guys to get her off me. Every time I fly out those same dude look at me and laugh.

This is the same girl I have to ditch now. First I have to clear away all dangerous weapons. I take two empty presidente's and put the bottles in the bathroom trash. The ashtray and anything else also go there. Loose change, laptop, camera, ipod and cell phone go in the safe. She is not aware of what I'm doing as she plays with her i9. The only thing out are my clothes for tonight shirt, shoes, pants and socks neatly stacked. As I'm stretched out on my bed with my hands behind my head trying to think, her phone rings on her bed. I hear her tell her sister she will be back in the morning.

This is my opportunity. I accuse her of talking to some guy and say "you disrespecting me"She says"no baby I love you I would never do that"I then tell her to get dressed I want to be alone. She turns into someone else right before my eyes. She says I want to fuck other girls and that I always break her heart. She comes erect on her kness on her bed, with her eyes scanning the room. I back to the outside of my bed to have some space. In one motion like an acrobat she stretches to the edge of her bed and grabs my size 12 nike and zings it in my direction. I don't see the shoe go by me, but I hear a thump against the wall behind me. She then grabs the other shoe and pauses like a quarterback taking aim.

She lets out a 'chu muderficker"so I duck as she misses. I jump my bed and pin her down as she struggles. After saying "listen"ten times I say"if I have to call security I'll never speak to you again"and"the three years iv'e loved you will be for NOTHING". She tenses, relaxes and says one last mudeficker. I release her and hand her clothes to her, never taking my eyes of her. This is still a dangerous animal. I quickly dress and go open the door with my hands on my hips. As we leave Sabor and Kutha are on Sabors balcony with the girls. She calmly says goodby as I take her to Sosua publico taxi. She says she loves me, I say call me when you get home. As I drive back to NG solo I realize I'm free.

You guys or awesome. Thanks for the advise. I am looking to head there in Sept. I think I will travel alone, but I can't but want to travel with a group. I believe some of the best experiences are share between ourselves and new friends. Unfortunately I don't have anyone in my circle who would be willing to take part in this kind of trip. It would be cool to meet some guys there that can show me the ropes, especially first time around.

You will be better off on your own, Dougie. You can do what you want, when and where you want, without having to worry about offending someone you had persuaded to come or having to compromise between what they want and what you want.

My first trip was to Blackbeards. I met some pleasant and interesting guys there but you don't really needs friends to help you there as everything is laid on a plate. Second trip was to Field of Dreams where much the same applies but using it as a base I went into Sosua and soon hooked up with people who are still good and trusted friends seven years later. You will meet plenty of gringos at all these places only to happy too show you around so long as you don't bum off them or embarrass them in public. Just make sure you don't hook up with any Dominican assholes or anyone who approaches you with "'Ello my fren'".

The one time where being in a group is an advantage is sharing taxis, which can make a big hole in your spending money otherwise. But that won't apply at Field of Dreams which is on the public transport route or in Sosua where everything is within walking distance, or at worse a short moto ride. It would apply if you stay in an AI, but after studying this board I am sure you will be too sensible for that. Also applies at Blackbeards if you want to get off campus.

All of the spots I have mentioned will have like minded guys hanging around. You will make fast friends. Every trip I meet somebody who becomes a friend. Use good judgement when making friends. You do not want to hang out with a holes. I have not seen many but I know they are out there. One more thing Always Know what you are paying. Never take a girl that has not agreed to your price. Avoid 3 somes until you know what you are doing. Often they are disappointing. Other then that Sosua is a piece of cake as are BB and FOD. Learn a few key phrases and you are golden.

Not much rope to show dude. You take money, you grab chica. You take chica to room and get a blowjob. Roll on condom, and start fucking. Afterwards you pay her and pat her on the top of her head as she leaves. Its that simple.

Prices are fixed at BB and FOD so its very easy. You will make friends as you travel. Don't make it more difficult by trying to over analyze everything.

You have several options. Black Beards and FOD are Brothel Hotels. They each have about 20 girls waiting for you to pull the trigger. The prices are set and you will not need much spanish. 40 bucks for 2 hrs 75 for all night. The food onsite is also very good at both places. The other option I like is going to Sosua. Sosua is a town that every girl is on the menu. You will see 2 or 3 hundred girls and maybe 70 guys looking for girls. You will meet many like minded guys who will help you. You will have an awesome time trust me.

Go to Black beards or FOD in Puerto Plata and spend a weekend. Spanish is not needed there, and the girls are sweet. The new breed has jumped these spots and headed straight to Sosua, so leave Sosua alone is my advise. Nowadays this board is full of "know it all" members who are legends in their own minds. So take your time, the game is still opening up, but guys have learned to be selective and not share everything with some of the guys here. Pm me if you need anything else.

a pet-peeve of mine is that while searching for a hotel or apartment to stay, i can never seem to find the number to call the place directly. this vexes me to no end. most often if one were to deal directly with the hotel then one might be able to obtain a better rate. so look what i found. this a list of a hundred or so hotels with their direct numbers. share one care one.

Rick has been at Rumba for a while now. He used to work at Rumba part time after he finished working at the restaurant. What is good is that the restaurant added some of Rick's dishes to the menu, like the pumpkin soup and the spicy blacken chicken.

I tried the wings at Rumba and they were good but small. I used to always see Rick at Rumba drinking in the evening, but I didn't know he worked there then.
