My Sosua is gone, its now for the newbies who don't know better and the vets who only go for one night to see how fucked up its gotten. Sosua, CR, Brazil all fucked up compared to what was. We need Cuba to open up and create a vaccum that sucks everyone there as the new paradise and then we will see some of these other spots gain some of their old ways.

The good news is that their are still many spots that haven't been spoiled if you have done your"Homework" (learned Spanish and culture).

Santo Domingo- A study by the UN Population Fund and the Association You Woman released on Tuesday reveals that Dominican Republic is placed among the countries which most contribute to the global sex trade.

Mr. Gogo is dead on, It pretty much describes me and my experience as the none Spanish speaking gringo in SD. Though I wouldn't be so harsh on GBP or the casas, I was regulated to street girls which as Gogo says are few and far between but at a good price of 1000 to 1500 and I was regulated to the cases where I was paying anywhere from 2500 to 3000 for two hours in my room with two pops. I also had a taxi driver / pimp / dealer who was a go between and bringing me girls at 3500 (2500 for them and 1000 for him) I know I was definitely over paying and taken advantage of, but I thought many of the women I had were very attractive and they all stayed for a few hours and in most cases gave me two pops. I also thought many of the GBP chicas were hot but you do have to fuck on a sofa not a bed. The touts are a REAL PAIN IN THE ASS, the Malaccan by the casinos is really nice but try walking along the ocean and they are all over you like mosquito in an arctic summer, and don't get me started on taxi drivers they are not your friend they are going to make a dollar off of you any way they can. Having a taxi driver take you to a casa and you're going to pay an extra 1000 commission for him. I had mine take me to GBP which I told him I already know about the place I know the price is 1000 pesos and I know where the place is it's just too far to walk. He tried acting like he was doing me a big favor by not taking the commission. Santo Domingo is not Sosua and Gogo is right unless you speak the lingo and put in some time it will be difficult to impossible to pick up regular chicas. I'm old fat and ugly so I had no illusions of picking up regular chicas and didn't even try. For me Santo Domingo was some place I had on my bucket list to try for a weekend monger trip and someplace I wanted to have on my monger resume, but I had already been to BB and Sosua a few times before I tried SD and its definitely no place I would make a regular monger stop and definitely no place for a first timer to the DR to get there feet wet.

To Monger in the SD you need to be a pro. A pro can speak the language, has 5 or six girls in his DR phone and 3 or 4 Dominican friends including drivers who you are cool with. Without these things you will be frustrated trying to fine the women and fun you paid your money to enjoy. If you know your way around NY you can fine anything you want. However A STRanger to the city speaking no English will be lost. SD is a little ny for us. I due to much work I can enjoy SD as much as Sosua. SD forced me to step my game up. Most guys do not have the time to develope the skills.

Newbies with no Spanish skills can't go to the discos. The strip clubs are usually mostly Dominican so they better not go there. The street walkers are hit and miss. EL Conde (Gringo spot) gets boring after two hours. Turn down the wrong street at night and your ass is grass. So some people will have you believe you can stay at the Barcelo hotel and pull chicas. There is a fee to bring outside girls there. The two hookers they have there are over-priced. And for 103usd per night with a CONTINENTAL breakfast? There are far better options. Most of the guys that have success in SD speak fluent Spanish and most of the time are Latinos. These guys have made many trips over the years and usually have novias there where they have met the family and put in time. So let not lead a newbie into believing SD is gringo friendly for a first time, non Spanish speaking gringo.

Most girls in SD live with there parents so if they don't know you they probably won't let their daughter stay over-night. Most SW and casa girls fuck hourly, not usually nightly. Most SD girls don't care about offering GFE to strangers. They would rather go home to the bario and be percieved as a good girl to their families. Sd has so many lonely women that once you have several visits and invest some time in a few chicas, the rewards are great. But what weekend warrior who doesn't speak Spanish can do this? None.

Good post. Santo Domingo is OK if you are there on business anyway and want to get laid, or passing through for the airport, but it is a commercial capital city, not a vacation destination. I have had OK times there, but I do speak Spanish. If you are a first timer and don't speak Spanish, Blackbeards is probably your best option, though Sosua is easy. Sosua has the advantages of being only 10 minutes from the Puerto Plata airport and that all the monger destinations and common businesses such as bank, supermarket, bars, restaurants, liquor store, beach, pharmacy, massage, hairdresser, casino are within walking distance of where you will stay.
