Earlier this year I was sitting on the malecon in Santo domingo having a BBQ. The carnival was about to start in a few hours so I called BQ Ribs and invited him over. I hadn't seen BQ in a few months but we wassap weekly. He was walking down the ocean side of the malecand, and I was sitting on the other side. The street was blocked for carnival so we walked to the middle to meet and embraced. I'm not a huggy type of guy but it just happened for some reason. Little did I know it would be a farewell hug. He later told me that hug meant a lot to him.

When I returned from Sosua last week, guys here were saying the bad news. BQ ribs had passed. He was Bigbird on another DR expat forum and they did a tribute to him but I still held out hope that everyone could be wrong.

I will share some of my BQ experiences later this week. RIP Otis. Thats the knick name I gave him when we argued and he would always laugh.

Man, I'm sorry to hear that. I never met him in person, but BQ hooked me up with invaluable information on how to move in Santo Domingo. RIP homie.

I had a special relationship with this man. He was like a cool uncle to me and I always looked up to him. Thought he was a loner if you were ever around his presents, you didn't know it. The way he makes you feel at home. He always went out of his way to make you want to stay around him all day.

I would go over to his house and he would try to clean out his refrigerator by saying; "since you're here let's kill the steaks". He pulls out four nice big 16 to 18 ounce steaks to throw them on the grill. Or I've been saving the shrimps for a special occasion like this. Before you can say no thank you; he’s done and they’re ready to eat. He will give you the red carpet treatment as his guest. During Super Bowl, he even created a smoker section for me In his house and he didn't smoke. It didn't matter, if you were his friend, your friendship means more to him than his Personal choices. Catcher for free.

My trip reports used to be one big paragraph without capitalization or punctuation. I didn't even separate my paragraphs and Fuck proofreading. He step to me real cool I said, " grown man we I love reading your trip reports but please write better"! You are smarter than you write. I didn't get offended. If there ever was anyone to step to me like that, it had to be a guy like him him. I told him I only write when I'm high, but since he asked me I will try to do better. Now I still may not proofread but I do take my time because I think he's reading.

Rest in peace BQ.

The Super bowl party of 2016 was epic. It was BQ having a SB party at his penthouse. The penthouse had both city and ocean views. Shit, I could have just lived on the balcony. In attendance were Mr E, Grownman and several other folks from this and other boards. Me and Grownman even had several strays with us but BQ didn't care.

First I got to start the weekend off leading to SB Sunday.

It was a Friday and me and Grownman were hanging out in Boca chica on the strip. We looked up and noticed these two newbies being led around by one of the touts. Incidentally they stopped in front of us as the sensed the were in bad. We asked where they were from and they said DC, my hometown. Okay got to help rhe homies now. We took over and the tout silvered away licking his chops.

They were us as they became family. We had a pool party at my boys mansion with food and girls. Then Saturday met up wirh Mr E and we all rolled to SD and Mystic hotel. I imported some San pedro girls and the other guys hit GPB.

Then came the SB party.

Mr E brought a girl that works at the airport. BQ had a few female friends and me and Grownman brought two groups of folks. Bq did all the food and had plenty. We didn't even pay attention to the SB on the tv, because everything else took priority.

I met BQ through MR Gogo on one of my Santo Domingo runs. He was a cool guy and a seasoned monger. He was REALLY working SD, which not many can do! Few, and I mean few were moving and shaking in SD like BQ was. We chatted here and there. I'm glad I had the opportunity to hang with him, and to get a little wisdom from him! RIP bruh. I'll see ya again, but not to soon! Peace!

What maakes the sue the sue is not any particular club. As long as the girls are there we will be there. I will miss how easy it was to move in Sosua but I will learn how to make it work. Who knows change can make some things better /.

Agree RIP to the sue, now a moment of silence in reverence as the sue has gone the line of such other noteworthy places like HELP in Rio.

Gogo thanks to the video you gave me is very clear where they're going with this new red light district. I really hate it but is something beyond my control. That set up is not attractive to me at all! No more punta, beach, bars, and room all in walking distance. No more strip walking. For the past six years or so; 85% of the time I'm in the DR I have been going to the Sue. Eight months out of the year I've contribute to single mothers on the north coast. But I can honestly say it will be about 20% now.

Looks like the place is set up for you to get your room and later on that night drive 5 minutes to the club; pick you and Chica drive her back to your room. Not good for me. I only pull 10% of my chicas from the clubs. That action is just not worth an eight 3 1/2 hour drive to the north coast.

But the newbies are still going to come; and some of vets will get used to it. I see no future or very little purpose to return to that mongering hole. Now that you've got your rhythm in Santo Domingo, I'm looking forward to us hitting San Pedro. I'm going to give it my Sosua time.

What was the good thing about the wingman in what I meant was when I told my wingmen who where in the USA at the time they all wanted to send me Western Union money. Lucky for me my debit cards were left by the crooks, and I was OK cash wise.

Only one time I can relate to the story which happened at a Connecticut casino. I met these two pretty girls and they were watching me play and make good money. They wanted a drink so we went to the bar. They agreed to go with me to the room and sex was agreed for $400. When I entered the room I put all my cash in the same deposit box shielding them from combination. I had sex with one girl and while resting the girl said she wants a drink. So we went downstairs leaving the other girl in the room. When we came back I had sex with the other girl. I tried to open the safe deposit box but it had a built in safety set up where if you try more than few types with wrong combinations it will lock up.

I asked the girl if she fiddled around with safe deposit box. Of course she denied it. I told her she did it because that is the only was it completely locks up and I had to get help from the hotel. Hotel security guy came and pulled me to the side and said somebody put the wrong combinations many times. With him there I told the girls that they tried to open the safe deposit box and they need to leave otherwise action will be taken.

So I got sex from both free. But it was not my intention but scammers deserves to be warned.

I definitely believe it. We live and learn. A few cardinal rules that I am sure you are aware of now. Do not drink anything offered to you by anyone, even if they have a cutesy way of doing it. If you are having a 3 some, then it is one that you have set up yourself, and not one that you were offered. It is hard enough to keep your eyes on 1 broad; trying to keep tabs on 2 is pretty much impossible. Me and my friends would have just done them in the same room. Surprised you guys didn't just do that instead of having them creep from room to room. I used to always hide the key between the trashcan and liner or behind a picture frame. I am thinking the toilet tank would be another good spot. Glad you lived to tell the story bro.
