Correct BO, Cebu is a southern island, but Manny is from General Santos. In that region sand Davau they do have a problem with terrorism.

About the Subic bay / Olongopo area, its the place I want to die. It was that special. I went when the Navy base was there in 1982 and did three more WESTPAC (western pacific) tours so The Philippines has always been in my heart with fond memories. I extended my trip to an open date because of the relaxed, peaceful, respectful and humble people there. Everything you could ever want is there. I'm not ready to sit down yet and write about the good times. First let me tell you what I didn't like: The local food didn't set right with me, the shyness of the girls, but everything else was perfect.

I would leave Subic after three days and go back to AC to reunite our crew before we go back to Manilla to meet Mr E and James. The whole time Subic was on my mind so I extended and moved to that area. I did month to month on a one bedroom loft for 20 k pesos (400 usd). It had WiFi, pool, security, cleaning and parking. It was a block from the beach in Baloy beach, which is next to Subic bay.

Baloy beach is another hidden secret, as the Philippines will keep giving you good surprises. Baloy has nice restaurants, beautiful sunsets and a ten minutes walk away are all the girly bars and restaurants. Fresh food is sold on the street and I would get natural coconut juice directly from the coconut for 50 p every morning While drinking the coconut I would walk to my gym (500 p per month) and workout before hitting Sitting bull to have a gigantic salad with grilled lemon chicken for 290 p. Either have a massage or call a girl for the afternoon. At night Baloy has all these Nice hotels that have live music. Usually it was only 3 people listening to a seven piece band. I would post up at these spots and sip a water instead of going to the strip and buying girls and drinks every night. If I was on a limited time vacation I would have done just the opposite. Being I was focused on living within my pension, sacrifices had to be made. In the 4 months that I lived in Subic I never had to dip into my savings to supplement my pension. In fact I had leftover cash every month and that was a first. I have probably 100 trips to the DR and have never stayed within budget, seems like money just jumps out my pocket in the DR. I rented a scooter for 300 p a day and would ride the winding roads with the Subic bay view as if I was flying. Traffic drives slow and everyone is courteous. I got into a nice zone and then when I found the duty free store in Subic on the old base I knew this place was for me. It was like an American store in smell and merchandise. After three days in AC left for Subic / Olongopo. Me and my DR veteran wingman had seen enough and now the journey continues. One expat living in AC after previously living in Sosua decided to come with us. Dude is cool and very experienced but he is very aggressive with the girls and me and my wingman are more laid back. Dude was on a mission to fuck as many women as he can before he checks out. He was getting rejected left and right with no shame but then he would catch something and dog her out. The girl who became my team leader was really a compromise.

After the three of us caught the bus from Dao bus station to Olongopo we then caught the blue jeepney that went to Subic bay for 13 pesos and a 23 minute ride through the rolling hills surrounding Subic bay. As we were walking to our hotel it was this pretty girl waiting on the jeepney going where we just left on the other side of the street. She was 5'4,120 pounds and had school teacher glasses. Nice little dumpy ass, and innocent looking with her glasses. As I made my way to cross the street, the ex pat guy had a better angle and was zeroing in. Fuck. This begging, pleading dude is going to ruin my plan. I then cut him off and pulled him aside. I said, look bro I got to have this one and I will owe you a favor. He looked shocked that anyone would do this and I moved on to my waiting princess. Turned out she was the gem of my trip. When she wasn't begging and plotting for money with some scheme, she did some good fucking. Eventually, I would fade in and out but she became my old faithful. I could depend on her to fuck and need money and could catch her in a charitable mood.

One thing I really like about Asian girls is the exit strategy doesn't come with payback, they just fade out. If I stopped answering calls and texts they would just fade out without drama. Shit a Latin girl or American girl is not going out that easy, its payback. Burn your house down, go to your job, talk bad about you on Facebook, turn her friends against you and also have her family members think you are the worst. I know because I've had all these happen to me. Disclaimer: Not all women in the Philippines, DR and America fit this category.

As we are walking to our hotel with our suitcases the town came out to welcome us, literally. From nail shop workers to trike guys to girls standing in front of girly bars. They almost had a parade for the three black gringos walking and dragging suitcases. We walked by dynamite dicks bar and dynamite himself came out to welcome us. I'm still in DR mode so I'm thinking it's a setup and what's the catch. Dynamite sat us at his bar and gave us a hat and two drinks before we slid out after 45 minutes. The expat is stock pilling numbers with no shame. Fat girls, ugly girls etc. We have dinner at Blue Rock which has good food and a great view. At 9 pm we hit the strip in Subic bay.

The strip in Subic bay is about half the size of AC but the main deal is that the girls negotiate with you directly. The bar collects no money from you. After 5 minutes in " Rum jungle", the expat has snatched something and disappeared. Damn the girl he had was one of the finest girls in RJ. I would learn the next day that she was good but he had two after that weren't. Anyway he doesn't repeat so no biggie, but damn I wanted the one he had also. Cool dude but he is in my way and hogging.

Shit so I got to move solo. My wingman went to Cebu to see a girl and the ex pat went back to AC. Now Subic bay is all for me just like I want it.

Coming up: Trip to Boracay, meeting up with Mr E and the arrival of WRX. Also renting a moped and finding the yacht A, owned by the 7th richest person in the world.

I vote for Thailand. Friendly, very safe, good food and girls, plenty of sightseeing places which wow you, plenty of choice destinations and I can go on and on.

Downside is rest of the world is there too.

Mr E would probably be the Gogo forum Asia expert so maybe he can reply. But from my perspective: Thailand for food, Philippines for island hopping ease. Comfortable lodging in both at a price. I like security, wifi, a safe and big beds in my hotels and I don't mind paying a little more more for these amenities. Personally I found that most Philippine food didn't agree with my digestive system so I stayed with fruits, salads, vegetables and salmon.

Angela's city (AC) is not a pretty site, traffic, pollution, beggars, and slutty women everywhere.

AC has a mall, maybe 50 gogo bars with girls and a great transportation system to go anywhere in the country. I would later fly to boracay from Clark which is next to AC.

After the crew all arrived in Manila we caught the victory liner bus from the cubao bus station to the Angela's city terminal Dau. Then we all hopped in trikes and paid the 100 pesos to go to red planet hotel. Being it was my birthday month and I'm a member, red planet gave me a 25% discount bring my daily hotel bill to 1200 pesos. Incidentally the exchange rate for the Philippines is 51 pesos to 1 American dollar.

Angela's city (AC) is not a pretty site, traffic, pollution, beggars, and slutty women everywhere. Did my scouting pre trip on a dating site but those were only going to be used as a backup. Hit Ace, lollipop, and several other spots but didn't pull the trigger. While walking around met a nice girl who had a rough street edge. I asked her what she likes about sex and she said she is a head pro. Excellent because that's exactly what I wanted. 1000 pesos and an hour later she was gone. She didn't have a phone so I would always be on the lookout for her, even stalking her known spot to no avail. The hotel guy later became my hookup guy and he delivered to my room. I paid 1500 pesos to the girl and she gave him whatever.

After an Asia jaunt for six months I'm finally back to the Caribbean and Latin America, my first travel loves. Asia was a refreshing change because it gives you a different perspective to Latin America. First, sorry for neglecting my forum and the board but I'm here to share all my experiences with everyone. Here in the Gogo forum we don't delete any posts. Here at Gogo forum we don't steal other peoples post and drag them here. Its all about mutual respect and what you post here.

First stop was Manilla to see a few friends. James who I met in the DR has a penthouse in Makati BGC that was available to start my adventure. On the 20th floor with city views from the living room and bedroom, I was in awe. He rents it for 1100 usd a month and had found a new spot so I finished off the last two months of his lease there.

BGC:

BGC is the most upscale part in Manila. Swanky bars and restaurants, parks for people and dogs, exotic cars slowly driving through. Foreign and local girls looking good but being uppity. For living an upscale American style life, BGC is the spot.

I started from scratch by joining a popular Asian online dating site before I arrived so I had girls waiting for my arrival. The Asian girls on the sites are a tricky bunch because they play a more humble, innocent, looking for a husband, type of role. They were trying to get married when I arrive LOL. On arrival I forgot about all of them as I was busy with the task at hand. Man, Manila girls make you work but the rewards are worth it. Seeing these innocent, humble, naive girls go to freak mode was the best. First they come by and act shy while trying to gage your intentions. I felt like a high schooler trying to get some distant pussy. After some time, having them naked acting shy in the bed, I finally slide in and slow grind while she goes into her transformation. BGC is best for shopping and just chilling in a safe environment but not good for meeting girls. Next stop Angelas city and the freak show. Coming up island hops to Boracay, and trips to Olongopo, Also Mr E and WRX drop in as well as several Sosua expats that have moved to the Philippines. And yes, the Philippine girls will leave you craving the DR girls because of the body differences. Stay tuned.
