But I will say this fellas. Juan Dolio is a great place to take a girl for a quick romantic getaway (1-3 days). Meridians apartments are a great spot to stay. Living here has it's pluses and minuses, I tried over the last few years to live here full time by extending my winter stay by one month per year, I have found that after 5 months I need a reset, whether that is going back to the states for a month or another country it does not matter, I was in the DR from late August until beginning of February this year and by the end of that stay I was so done with it I can't put it into words, I went back to the states and after a month I was ready to return, I will stay for two months then Colombia for a month. I can't live in the DR full time, no way, I thought I could but I can't. That said, I do love being here most of the time versus vacationing here, having the time to build a decent list of quality girls that don't work the streets every night that are happy with a fair price for services rendered and know that I will be here for a repeat if they do everything on my "list" of requirements has been worth it's weight in gold to me.
