Try Elizabeth hotel as SGD75 = PHP2600 or roughly in my book. Nice place I always stay there. Or try Golden Prince across the road, Quest of Mandarin Plaza. Preference is alwas the Elizabeth. All within the budget you note.
Check your PMs also.

Folks,
I have no idea where to stay after the earth quake! I am searching for one and my Budget is max 75 Singapore $. I can't afford Marriot if I go alone rather I should minus 2 nights from Cebu and stay in Angeles (But anyway my outward flight from Cebu to Singapore). I stayed near fuente osmena circle / Mango Ave Bars last time, and would like to stay somewhere around this time also.
Thanks / G

I was at Elizabeth the same time and while it shook and shaked as you would expect, no cracks so a solid build. Room rates similar if you go direct (cheaper actually and net net).
Check your PMs.

It's 2800p for the king bed rooms. Thats it, no ++ I suggest book direct, or walk in, and screw the online services that charge hotels for listings.

I will finally be on my way back to paradise.
But I need to make hotel bookings in Cebu.
Can anybody give me a damage report on the following hotels:
Parklane.
Elizabeth.
Montebello.
Waterfront Cebu (not airport)
Thanks in anticipation,
Gangles

i heard through the bamboo grapevine the place was built one bag of cement at a time and to sub-standard specs. even the support columns are supposed to be made from bagged cement. i have never seen a cement truck there, ever.
i have never stayed there and probably never will. to save a few php the risk to my health is not worth it.
if you do take one for the team and stay there, post a review. i'm sure it would help someone out since mp has yet to be reviewed.

Much better to book a mid-level hotel where you blend in if you have plans to bring a different filipina to your room every day.
Interesting link though.

Anybody stay at the new Mandarin Plaza hotel yet? I liked Quest when I stayed there, but it's hard to beat the prices at the Mandarin, about $50 for a deluxe room on Agoda well into next year. The location is perfect and the rooms look nicer than those at the Quest (but pics can be deceiving). If no one has stayed there yet, I may just have to take one for the team next time I visit. WR, I saw your post from your July walk through, just trying to see if anyone has actually stayed there since the official opening and if the kinks you mentioned have been worked out. Oops, in your case I should probably rephrase "kinks" to "issues" to avoid confusion. ;)

Platonic and Ms MIA are not words that I would associate in the same sentence for you (or me or that matter LOL). Nice girl, clever. Intelligent and kinky all in one. A yummy combination.
