Just wondering if this short time hotel is still a viable option?

I have used it pre-covid previous for quickies.

Will need a Cebu room for about 6 hours.

I'm not sure what your question is! There are many Queensland hotels in the tri-city areas of Cebu City, Manduae City and Lapu-Lapu City and there is also one in Consolacion. I have used many of them for short-time sessions, though never for 6 hours. If you want one of their rooms for 6 hours it won't be a problem.

Just departed Philippines on Mar 30 2022.

In Phil from 17 -30 Mar 2022.

For Domestic travel. No apps. Traveled to CDO and Cebu on both PAL and Cebu Pacific from Manila.

Never asked for any S- Pass or Traze App or any other app from airline or hotel personnel.

For International.

Arrived from Bangkok to Manila. Only QR code from One Health. No App.

If you are tested positive it would be hell in a third world country. Where they drag you to, treatment, food delivered etc. This would be hell in short).

I just booked for May. I haven't yet bothered to navigate the immigration rules as I know they will change between now and then. Whatever will be needed I am sure I can accomplish in the last few days.

Having done business in Ph & dealt with Ph bureaucracy I am sure it can be overcome.

What do you mean with "apps download" and "all your apps should be up to date"? Which apps are you talking about?

You need the Traze Contact Tracing for flights.

You need the One Health Pass (OHP) to enter the Philippines but I'm not sure if that's an app or a web site.

After all this I would be scared to kiss the girl because if the girl comes down with sniffles and tests positive both you and the girl will be spending next 10 days in quarantine hotel. Guess who is paying?

Next is travel within Philippines. Once again all your apps with info should be up to date. Next hotel I have booked has the same rules and regulations. Same issues if try to get a girl. Even if the girl is for ST only if the girl for any reason tests positive she needs to give her acquaintance contacts info which can create a problem.

After considering all these I have decided it is not worth the hassle and I would not be really enjoying the trip and cancelled all reservations..

Can someone recommend me an Condo / Airbnb where I don't have this hassle with these Vaccine Card Checks / Guest Forms BS?

I booked the ABC Hotel for my Trip in May, but they require Vaccine Card, ID, and to fill out an Form for the Guests.

I think that many girls will not have one (or more) of these requirements and than I will have problem, because I don't travel so far for going to ST Hotels with them only.

It would be nice when someone could recommend me an Condo where I can bring guests in without these annoying checks.

Huuh? My girl (s) always juts came straight to my room. The only stop was to knock on my door. No interruptions from hotel staff at all. But that was pre COVID.

Haven't been there for a few years but always had the security issue. They even had the metal detector at the front door.

Also there was a Church that had services there on Sunday mornings. Security would stop any young thing not in Church attire before and during Church service. One Sunday security would not let a sexy attire guest of mine with ID thru the front door. I went down to get her and they refused to let her in to my room. Finally I said she was here for the brunch with me! We ate and then walked to the elevator and up we went.

The Quest hotel is excellent. Great food there. I remember they always checked the girls ID. Sometimes there was a problem bringing 2 or more girls into the room. That was the drawback.

Unfortunately I am stuck in US until I close a RE sale. Closing date keeps being a moving target. Hopefully I will land in PH late March or in April.

The Quest hotel is excellent. Great food there. I remember they always checked the girls ID. Sometimes there was a problem bringing 2 or more girls into the room. That was the drawback. One time one girl had to wait in the lobby while the other one went up to the room. Then they rotated. Other times I got 3 girls up with no problems. They all stayed overnight in the room.

I can't remember the name of the hotel across the Quest. That hotels Security was a real pain in the.

Let me know how it goes as I planning to go to Cebu in March or April. I might take a trip to Alona / Panglao too.

My question is this: this next trip I plan to go in April. This time I want to try a new hotel and was looking at IT Park just to explore another area. The Seda Central Block looks nice. I was RTFF and I think someone was saying it used to be a Marriott. I'm wondering if anyone has any idea if they've historically given any pushback on bringing guests to your room? I'd hate to book it for a whole week and not be able to have fun. I'd rather just stay with Quest to take that risk out of the equation, but want to try something new. Any ideas guys?

If you want to stay in the IT Park environs, try Airbnb as there are many condos available for rent. Security is lax at most condo buildings. Be advised that many restaurants have closed in the park.
