Thank you for allow me to relive my moments at Mainhattan through your trip report. I must add that for value and convenience, Mainhattan, hands down the place to go. Great facility, easy access and great food. The line up could improve but at 50 a pop, both in terms of entrance and happy ending can't go wrong. For my indulgence, I rate Mainhattan pretty high.

This was my 5th trip to this area since 2009. Planning for this trip began almost 6 months ago and the result was a rather enjoyable visit, IMHO.

It was my longest trip to date, lasting 9 days plus a travel day at each end. Other visits have ranged from 6. 8 days. During this visit I visited the following clubs:

FKKs Mainhatten, Oase, Palace, and World, with Bernd's Sauna Club, and massage parlours Kaskade and Secret Service in Frankfurt. I also strolled both of Frankfurt's RLDs, mostly out of curiosity, but was never tempted to sample the wares.

Day 1 Mainhatten 1:30 PM. 10:15 PM.

The club is easily reached from the Hauptbahnhof by Trams 11 or 12. In my particular case, I could get the tram from in front of my hotel straight to Daimlerstr and then make the brief walk to the club. I had purchased the 8€ Airport Day pass because I intended to use the trains / trams several times within the day, (a one-way ticket within Frankfurt is 2, 50€).

I walked the last leg to Mainhatten and paid my 50€ entrance. On a subsequent visit I was advised that on the 16th of June the rate would be rising to 60€ with discounts for certain times of day, etc. I did not inquire if the frei beer would also be re-instated or not. Once in the club this Monday it was immediately apparent that there was an insufficent number of clients for the ladies. The ladies out numbered the men quite strongly, (about 20. 8/9) and did so for most of the evening. The situation changed slightly later as more men entered, but there were always more than enough fine ladies available. This did however result in some of the ladies being a little testy and pushy and there were a few long faces. I was frequently approached and there was a lot of clutching and grabbing, something I only slightly discouraged.

One of the more aggressive ladies identified herself to me as Leile (ph) of Spain. She is about 5'5', tanned, deflated Bs and wore her shoulder length streaked hair tied back. Although attractive enough, she was not my 'type', so I did not go with her, despite her persistent attempts to lure me in, including stroking, tongue in ear and whispering fine promises to me.

She concurred and was cheerful, giving me a warm kiss as she was receiving her 50€. Little did I know that there was more to Lilly than I knew. And I would not learn of it until my next visit, on my last day in Frankfurt.

As I said there were great number of men present throughout the visit. On one occasion, while lying on the lounge chairs outside the saunas, I was discussing things with a German local. He was interested in where a tourist would go and was quite interested in Bernd's, even asking that I write the name down for him.

While there appeared to be a surplus of ladies, I noted that some of them never seemed to move! I included in this lot a pretty Russian lady with fiery red short hair and numerous tattoos on her back and arms. Why she was not busy was a mystery to me. I did not session with her only because she was always in a group of 3-4 ladies or when alone, I did not like all the tattoos. Most of the ladies that I spoke with were resigned to the low numbers of men, saying only that it was a Monday and a back to work day. They displayed a good, but disappointed attitude. Of course there is more, and as I have time I shall prepare it. But it was a good start, considering the jet lag et al. So, while lacking in quantity, I felt that I had had two quality sessions!

Agree on World's beer. It's Kaiser Pilsner, not a premium brand, I's never buy it if I had a choice. But a world there's a keg at each bar, separate systems, there's no line from upstairs to the bar in the basement. That's what you meant?

Ok, draft is better than bottles. You win on the taste of the beer. All except World's draft beer. World's draft beer had an odd bitter kick to it that kept on hitting me as it went down my throat. I went downstairs and the bartender served me a bottled beer and that had no odd kick on the way down. FYI World no longer gives out those beers downstairs, they've hooked the draft system up so it runs downstairs. At least they hooked it up, foam kept on pouring out and the girl couldn't get a beer poured, had to go upstairs. That extra air in the sytem might have caused the issues noted above. I'd never pay for the draft beer at World, I left half of every beer in the glass.

When I say 'watered down' I mean you don't know what beer your actually getting. The taste of bottled beer is more consistent compared to the ups and downs of a draft system. If they changed their liquor setup so that also came out of a tap, how would you feel about that? You order an absolut and red bull and they pull a lever and give you your drink, they'll even give you a tad bit more than they would if they had poured it themselves from the bottle of absolut and the red bull out of the can. Its a superior system, you said so yourself, a shot of vodka and energy drink out of a fountain is just the same as it being poured from a bottle.

Its not where the drink came from, its how its presented to you if your paying extra for it. If I'm paying 4 5 euro's for a beer, I'd like to chose which type of beer I'm going to drink.

My 1st time at this club, actually the 1st FKK I've been to since 2002 (whole evening at Oase then; foggy but positive memories linger on ).

Had 14 hrs between flights at FRA and booked a day room with Bill Marriott for the Missus while I took time off for 30 mins of real biz followed by a few hrs of monkey biz.

I was very impressed by the amenities of the place : everything very clean and inviting, the food was edible, the drinks seemed reasonably priced although I don't like their prepaid voucher system. This situation probably is the result of FKK Mainhattan's recent entry fee increase and the new charge for beer. I was in FKK Mainhattan on a Friday night last month and the club was packed.

This will come back to bite them. You want to charge for beer, stock some good bottled beer and sell those. Discontinue the draft beer. Very few people will pay 4 euro's for half a bottle of their watered down draft beer.
