I visited Mainhattan on the fourth day of my recent 5-day mongering trip to Frankfurt. I had been to Palace, World, and Oase the previous three days and I have reviews on the respective threads if you're interested. Today I had planned to visit Sharks but got delayed and decided it was too late to go there and have to take a train back by midnight, so I went to Mainhattan instead. It turns out I never got to Sharks, so I don't know what I missed.

Mainhattan was a very long taxi ride from my hotel near the Hauptbanhoff. It's in an industrial area and from the outside looks like anything but what it is. The girl at the front desk spoke good English, was very pleasant, and explained the procedures to me. Entrance is 50 euros, the cheapest of any FKK I have been to. Otherwise it is pretty much like all the other clubs: 50 euros per half hour with the girls, CIM 50 extra, anal 100 extra. You can wear a towel around your waist or for 5 euros you can get a robe. Your key opens your clothes locker and the money locker where you keep the cash to pay the girls. There is a very nice dining area and buffet that is open all hours as far as I could tell.

Mainhattan is physically different from any of the other FKKs I have visited. Whereas all the others are warm, Mainhattan is icy; I'm not talking about temperature, but ambiance, and I mean a cool, chic icy. It appears to be a new building and both the architecture and furnishings are ultra modern. The other thing different about it is the relatively small number of girls and customers, at least compared to the other clubs. The place never feels crowded, which I suppose is a good thing, but while the other clubs can feel raucous, Mainhattan is relatively sedate, even when they are playing rock music in the bar at top volume, which they started to do as the evening wore on. There are no doors so you best not be shy, but the girls are naked too and the guys don't care. It's a nice environment.

I liked the layout here more than at Oase, but I wasn't there for the facilities. It seemed like the girls weren't supposed to approach guys in the room near the hot tub and Saunas, though they could pass through or be invited to hang out there with a client. Sunday and I would normally have gone to Oase however I'd spent all Saturday holed up in my hotel room with a migraine and wasn't really 100% fit; probably more like 75% so only decided on the closer Mainhattan on my way to the tram stop.
