Weekday daytimes at PSR remain very quiet and relaxed. In my experience the girls have outnumbered the bears throughout the day, but visitor numbers build up a bit after work and on Saturday. The lineup is only ever comparable with ACA, at best, in my opinion.

It is a very pleasant daytime spa experience to relax here. The downside if you have to keep in touch with work is that you are only supposed to use a mobile in the wooden room behind the pool area. But at least you can phone from there.

The reason why I am wanting to go back is because on this tour is with a crew where we all join up with a pick up from home to travel to drop off at home at the end. I am not dictating the program like it would be if I was on my own and just meeting other crews in the clubs. PSR for a Friday program was touted by a 50% margin of crew members so that tipped the balance as I am in the clubs more than them so I defer to the wishes of the other guys.

Thanks for the comparison of PSR as similar to ACA. That paints a picture for me quite well. LOL. I was was hijacked to go to ACA by an adventurous Ocean Bear who even paved the way for me by annoucing to ACA reception in a prior visit to mine that I would be coming. LOL.

My Sundays at PSR have been pretty much 1:1 ratio for bears and gazelles except for when it was a NRW public holiday and the place was packed with Ice Bears. I can see a Friday being not much better than a Sunday. This is based on the feedback that I get from asking some of the girls at PSR when I see it like a waiting room at the airport with both the gazelles and bears waiting for their planes to depart it would seem.

I have been to Samya midweek, on a Fridays and on a Saturdays. Samya visits have been mainly with Ocean bears as opposed to Ice Bears so that may have something to do with it as Ocean Bears do not report. I have written reports on Samya. You need to check the Samya thread for them. I like Samya but it is hard going to get a girl that tickles my fancy there. Samya girls give great service and Ali, the manager, is so cool when you talk hockey with him.

I do not think Planet will feature on the tour since we have limited time. World is also on the menu as is Mainhattan. Hessen Bub has given the thumbs down to a late late raid on Mainhattan so we main have a rethink and drive up to Bonn instead of to Frankfurt that night.

psr has, imho, the best combination of long stay relaxation facilities, ambience, and food in the business. the club is an oasis of summer during sunny winter days. unfortunately the line-up is limited both in quantity and quality.

my visit was at lunchtime on a sunday in winter. the visit followed a late saturday night at oase, so i was tired and jaded.

the club is difficult to find at best. by public transport the journey would be long and tortuous – if you haven't a car i suggest you go to samya.

the building is set back behind hedges at the entrance to the small village of durbusch, and is easily missed.

cologne standard pricing of: €50 for every half hour; €25 for most extras; but €50 for anal.

club and facilities:

the building and grounds are large and sprawling. the ambience of the building is very similar to fkk world, and i guess both were once rich-mans' villas. psr was previously a consular residence. i enjoy spending time at clubs which have space, and varied niches and relaxation points spread about.

changing rooms.

changing rooms are on the lower floor of the building, and are unremarkable except for the price list inside the locker door. the changing rooms may reached from the receptions area, and from the upper wet area.

restaurant:

the jewel in the crown.

at opening time on a sunday, the restaurant has two large self service buffets filled with just about every conceivable breakfast option, including freshly baked hot croissants and pastries. the standard is that of brunch at a high quality hotel.

at lunchtimes and evenings there is a menu of freshly cooked food, and the island buffet continues to provide a wide range of salad options.

i note that some writers have criticised the quality of food here, but in my experience the quality and overall standard is about the best that is available. (only das5 is comparable.)

public spaces:

because of the availability of space, the bar serves more as a conventional bar, rather than as the main meeting area.

away from the bar, the club has an apparently inexhaustible supply of divans and reclining areas. some are indoors, some are outdoors, some are in the sports tv lounge, some are in the large kino, and more are to be found in the conservatory area.

it is this area that makes psr a unique pleasure in sunny weather in winter. warm sunshine streams into the room, which is adjacent to the warm swimming pool and jacuzzi areas. if the long cold winter has taken its toll upon, the first sunshine of spring will soon warm your spirits. and if, from time to time, a pretty companion comes to sit beside you to offer you her body, the dark shadows of winter are quickly lifted.

wet areas:

the pool, jacuzzi and hot foot-baths (?) occupy a well furnished area between the conservatory and the kino area.

the pool is surrounded by sofas, recliners, and a swinging (meaning suspended, not beverley!) orgy-sized bed.

summer:

psr has extensive rolling grounds, with outside decking, loungers, jacuzzi and wet areas. in summer the conservatory slides open, to provide a transition between inside and outside areas.

rooms:

the rooms are of a high standard. many rooms have an ensuite shower room.

girls:

the daytime lineup at psr is limited, but the number of girls is adequate for the relatively few daytime visitors. in the evening the numbers of girls increases, but less than the substantial increase in male guests. the girls are generally clothed in swimwear or underwear, with a few naked or semi-naked exceptions. the visual quality of the lineup is, overall, below that of most major saunaclubs, with most girls in the 6-8 range. the quality of in-room service was good, with no sign of upselling or other misbehaviour. public action is more common than at most other clubs.

narrative:

psr is hidden away in a small country village near cologne, and is relatively inconspicuous behind high hedges. after overshooting the club, i eventually found the entrance. i arrived too early on sunday, and was mobbed in reception by girls that were arriving for work. it was strange to be surrounded by the girls, en masse, wearing their normal street clothes. of course, i did not recognise or remember many of them once they were undressed, but they all jokingly remembered who i was!

I have been to Park Sauna Residenz ("PSR") a few times. It is recommended for a relaxing wellness day. The facilities are expansive with an indoor heated swimming pool, table tennis, pool table. 4 saunas (3 indoor and 1 outdoor but 2 of the indoor ones have not worked in ages in 2010) .2 cinemas (one porn and one sports) , a separate dining room where meals are ordered from a la carte menu and cooked fresh to the order, a well stocked bar, etc.

In saying all of this though the line up is not extensive and it is not stunning. The girls here seem to be more freer from what I can see. There is no or less of a "control" feeling if you understand what I mean. The girls say that they like the club since they "can do what they want" which is not what they experience at other sauna clubs in NRW. If you like MILFs, housewives or hobbyhuren then I am sure your needs will be met at PSR. There are some real cuties in the younger eastern european contingent (Romanians and Bulgarians) like Sabrina (ro) who we nick named the teenage witch in a fond way.

PSR is a club that if you can find 1 to 2 girls that really float your boat then couple with the fantastic facilities and activities makes for an extremely great club to visit. PSR - How has no one mentioned the above name yet?

Its more a limitation of this board I am afraid. Whilst we have much to be grateful for, this area of the board sees little maintenance. Because the board is English-speaking, there is a concentration on a small number of well-known clubs. There are many hidden gems out there to be found!

Park Sauna Residenz is, in fact, not new, but has been around for many years.

It pre-dates Villa Vertigo and Acapulco, and may even have been around at the time of the legendary Lost Atlantis.

PSR shared a common presentation, and so I assume was associated, with FKKs Atrium and Arena. These two have now been morphed into the Harem Pauschalclubs, although a vestigial stump of Atrium may remain.

PSR has never had the best lineup. There are many on this board for whom lineup reigns supreme, and the exclusion of PSR is, on this basis, understandable. For us few weirdos that enjoy the Gentlemans' Club atmosphere and relaxation facilities it remains a favourite despite its limitations.
