I've not heard of this place. I did a Google Translate perusal and it looks like more of a brothel than an FKK, especially since it's open 24/7. Do you or anyone else know about the pricing structure and if it's an AO place? It's close enough to FRA for me to give it a try on my next trip.

Now that PT Mettmann is closed also and the building is up for sale, it would make a good place for DVR. They would have to do some re-modeling to get some private rooms. Not that DVR had many to begin with. It had 3 private rooms and 2 semi-private rooms. PT Mettmann did not have any private room at all. But that should be able to change easily.

However, I do see one potential problem. Most of DVR's steady customers have been going there for years and they are from the surrounding areas of Raubach. Relocating to a new place means they have to establish all new steady customers.

One of the best things about DVR was its proximity to the Frankfurt area. For a guy like me who travels to the FRA area 3-4 times per year, a 90-minute drive to DVR for all that it had to offer was an easy decision. I once drove from the FRA area to Mettman. That was way too long of a trip.

The only competition for DVR is Dietzenbach, and that's where I spend my AO Euros these days. Irina would be well-served to try to locate closer to Frankfurt. She wouldn't be able to handle all of the business, including mine.

Any updates on the temporary closure? It's been over a month now. I was planning a trip to Germany to visit the DVR and I'm waiting to see what happens here.

The article says that the Irina appealed against the closure warrant, and that the tribunal was about to decide with a fast trial, probably already within the current week. The website still says that the club is "temporary" closed, I guess they somehow managed to keep the ball rolling. They have already complied to the fire protection prescriptions a while ago. And while it's true that the club lies in a residential areas, Irina always took great care not to cause friction with the neighbours (giving customers suggestions on how to park the car, or handling the dogs not to cause inconvenience). But I guess some people, in their neighbourhood like elsewhere, are against such clubs on principle, no matter what the factual situation looks alike.
