-Getting there: this one is the most distant Hessen Club from Frankfurt (100 km) and is probably a bit more challenging only using public transportation but definitely doable. Essentially, take a regional train from Frankfurt am Main station (or Frankfurt Sued) to Fulda. Get off at Fulda station (Fulda Bahnhof), change platform to catch another regional train (the RB52) towards Gersfeld (Rhoen) Bahnhof. Get off at Welkers station (2nd stop). Congrats, you're in the middle of nowhere! (pic included)

The trip from Frankfurt takes 2 hours in all (1h15 to Fulda, wait for 30 minutes, then 12 minutes for the second train).

Getting back: equally tricky. I went on a Sunday but even with the weekday-schedule, the window is small. Trains run every 2 hours, last chance is at 22:35 otherwise you'll have to stay till closing (4 am) then wait an hour and catch the train at 5:19 back to Fulda then back to Frankfurt.


-Layout / Facilities: This place is quite big, real estate out in the boonies must be cheap. The club has 3 floors, not including the inaccessible underground floor.
It looks fantastic, modern and clean. Like an LA penthouse once you're in the outside area.

1st floor: You arrive outside at the same entrance as where the cars park, get in through the dark glass doors, up some steps and you're at reception. Past the reception counter then the entire place gets confusing. Left is a number of doors including to the changing rooms, right is the wellness area (The design is pretty cool here: Buddha statues and carvings which you can see pics of on the website): to the left are the showers, Hamam and bio-sauna (don't know what it is compared to regular sauna, never went in), to the right up some steps are the twin Jacuzzi baths and further up the steps the main sauna with windows to the outside area. Continuing straight ahead leads into the living / bar room which is quite big and has an erotic feel to it with red cushions and bead curtains. This is the main hub where the girls sit. My major gripe with the bar is that their drink dispenser served flat soft drinks aside from the water, coke, Diet Coke, sprite. All flat. Minor to some, it pissed me off. The bar also has two TVs one with German TV, the other with music channels I think.

Door to the right leads to the outside area.
Ahead past the bar area in the same direction is a small hallway black door is the gambling machine room (at least 8 machines in fact as well as a TV); instead right of the hallway steps to the second floor.
The outside area looks great for a sunny day: pool, seats, lying benches, stairs leading upstairs from outside (the building also has lifts instead of stairs).

2nd floor: stairs from that hallway lead up to another long hallway where it's easy to get lost. I can't describe as well: rooms, lots of them on either side for sessions, porn kino in one room, one end has a gym with weight machines and bicycles, another room the masseuse and beauty salon, the other end stairs up to floor 3 or down back to reception.
The session rooms are split into those with aircon and those without. The club hosts themed rooms, a few have a jacuzzi bath. Oddly enough, NONE of the rooms have mirrors which may or may not be your thing.
The kino is nice and relaxing, where the sound was on low. The porn on show was good (hustler hd). Often girls with customers are in here. You can bang them in the kino if you want. Otherwise sitting in here alone, girls occasionally check in and sit next to you to offer their services.

3rd floor: restaurant and skylounge.
Restaurant is nice, serving grilled chicken, sausages and salad or otherwise several pasta dishes. They however currently only serve until 11pm. I was content with the food. The drinks served up here luckily are from the bottle and therefore weren't flat.
Skylounge is just basically an extension of the restaurant where you can sit and see the horizon (nothing around).

Non-LU staff was mostly fine. Reception was nice and helpful, cook was friendly, other staff couldn't speak any german which led to some confusion occasionally.
Like in Oase, male staff are around fully clothed, talk to the girls in Romanian. (I prefer Sharks where you don't see this).

Entrance was either 35 euros (Spartariff) which doesn't include food or drinks or the 50 euros all inclusive for food, non alcoholic drinks, also includes 3 free beers (I like), bath robe but only 4 towel replacements (what is the point of this?) This is a special as the all inclusive entry costs 75 Euro the rest of the year.

Highlight at 5 E was always the hardware with the wellness area and the excellent a la carte food.

Line up was always far below the large Frankfurt clubs. On my last visit 2 years ago even line up at small Bahama club was better for me than at 5 E. Additional service level at 5 E low. Lots of no DFK girls or want extra for DFK already some years ago. Even some girls tried CBJ there.

Das 5th Element is a club I had read about for years but never coordinated my logistics to allow a visit, as it's not really doable by public transport from Frankfurt. I decided to base myself in Fulda with an overnight stay there, which had a number of advantages. Fulda is situated well for transport, and I arrived via a morning ICE from Darmstadt, a less than 1-hour trip on the ICE. I spent late morning and mid-afternoon, plus part of the next morning, touring around Fulda's Baroque city, which is an excellent and underrated destination in Germany. From Fulda there's easy rail access to Eichenzell (Welkers stop), a 15 minute ride from Fulda. From the stop there it takes less than ten minutes' walk through the industrial area uphill from the rail platform to the club. Rail connections back to Fulda end early at around 10:30 PM, but taxis are a reasonable option; it cost me about 25 Euros for the 20 minute ride to my hotel after midnight.

5th Element is well maintained and everything feels new-ish though it is a club that has been around a while. The wellness area is great, with indoor pool, steam, sauna, and whirlpool, as well as an outdoor pool. Besides the pool the outdoor area is kind of characterless, not really natural since it's kind of a terrace built into the club. There is what seemed to be a new open-air roof lounge that no one really used the day I visited, which has shisha pipes. Rather than a buffet, for food you order off a menu, and there is a small dining area near the primary entrance to the main contact room; the food was tasty and the wait reasonable. With all this said, the club while not small I felt limited on where I could roam, as the main room is not huge, and on a cool day the outdoor area not good for long stretches and it wasn't all that appealing to me. There are places to lid down in the wellness area though.

You have re-affirmed my impression that 5th Element is not a destination club during this winter. You cannot believe the arguments and anguish that needs to be discussed with friends when they think they have come up with the bright idea of visiting 5th Element this winter since the wellness facilities are good and the food is cooked a la carte and fresh. Yes, the hardware is fantastic but the software is not that desirable.

I think 5th Element is better in the Summer time. But even then the delights and line-ups of the bigger clubs can out shine the sheen of 5th Element.
