I'm a newbie to site and to Dubai. But stuck here for all summer. I'm a bit nervous of being tracked by phone history, especially if calling any web published numbers, and of sim being registered to me. Is concern justified or any local hints or tips to avoid?

Recently I found that ukexpatsurfer (or similar name) works in UAE and they offer a free 2 day trial. Their service is not very good so use trial to access a better VPN service.

Or buy a VPN when you're in the free world next time. Just do a Google search and pick any on the first page. Cost is around $50 a year.
