I have to defend Palace here a little bit if only because I've had so much fun there. Remember at some point all of us were Newbies! Sure there is upselling at Palace but I've not been to a club (except ColA) where there isn't -- the girls do it for the money and if they can make more they will. But I've had enough great sessions even as a Newbie at Palace to disagree with this 'Palace sucks' dogma. Sure, its gotten slightly worse over the years but not by much. Look back at reports from 2005-6 and you'll see the same comments then too about 'sharks' etc.

Another way of looking at is it that in a big club like Palace the probability of getting a shark is higher but so is the probability of getting a super GFE with a hottie. Agree, although perhaps World and Sharks are interchangeable. Sharks probably has a little bit of an edge for me personally because of the venue, location, easier accessibility by public transport and slightly better food.

Never been to Palace but it doesn't get good reviews here. I would suggest Sharks as a first timer over Mainhattan but if if it's doable in terms of you being able to get to I'd consider Oase as well. In terms of girls speaking English I think it's correct to say Sharks & Oase both will be better than Mainhattan in this regard if only because there will be plenty more girls in both so higher number of English speakers.

As others have said though it's personal choice / opinion. Only way to find out what suits you is to visit them all, except Palace perhaps!
