1. Wow, you actually walked both ways to / from Darmstadt-Hbf! Well-done! But are you aware that there is a direct train from Frankfurt Hbf to Darmstadt Nord, which is only a 10-minute walk from Sharks? This route was first introduced and fully explained to this board, a couple of years ago by Syzigies, so you might search his back post about World about that time.

2. Out of all the fantastic girl choices in Sharks, you are telling us that the best you could find to go to Zimmer with was Katerina (obviously NOT from Ellas) and the infamous Sylviana (well known as "Granny"). Usually when I'm in Frankfurt, I go to the Palace. This time, however, I visited Sharks for the first time because of deteriorating reports here. What I've read here rings true and thought I'd add a few notes.

It is possible to walk there from the Hauptbahnhof in a little over a half hour. There is also bus service, with a bus stop within a block that goes until around midnight most days, but I didn't record the details.

I am planning to visit Sharks (or Oase) at the end of this month, and I need some advises.

I have visited Palace and Samya before, but my experience wasn't really good.

I'm arriving to FRA on a Sun evening and was thinking of doing Sharks on Sunday, Oase on Monday, Mainhattan Tues. I think Mainhattan is the worst of the 3, though, so not sure I want to leave with that one. I might do Mainhattan first since I'm likely to be a bit tired from the travel and save Sharks for Monday when I have more energy, but I figured the Sunday LU was better.

I know mid-week doesn't have ideal lineups, but no choice on that. I'm staying near FRA Airport, any advise on transport?

Sharks become quite dead about girls at 1 am on Sunday evening, but can have quite good casting on Monday. Mainhattan or Oase are more night clubs until 4 am, to warm up, maybe with blond Suzi. Cz at Mainhattan. Tuesday is a low casting day, but Oase may be the less worst, even no more Ina, nor Tatiana. Parking can be a hassle because I don't know what the road and other signs mean, due to language issue. If it is a public parking lot, fine, no problem. Just pay up, and go. In city centers, I have been able to find public lots, and they are actually not that expensive, especially if you are used to some of the rates in the US cities (and here I am not talking only about big cities like NYC or Boston, but even mid size cities).

But when I am driving in Darmstadt or Freidrichsdorf for example, and you see a restaurant, I have no idea where I can park around and what is a legitimate spot or not. Even when I see some local cars parked and there is a spot behind them, I still don't know if the other guys have some special parking permit to park there.

Renting is not a problem. Buy insurance before you go. If you buy at the counter from the rental guys, it seems a lot more expensive.

Wth GPS, you can drive anywhere. I have not driven in Eu in pre GPS days and would not dare to dream of it.

I have never rented a car or even thought about it. The main reason is that my trip started after I retired and wanted to pretend that I was a college kid. So I got a Eurail pass and rode trains almost everyday. But today, I don't get a Eurail pass or rent a car, because I like to stay in the city. Cities like Frankfurt and Amsterdam (and even Cologne and Dusseldorf) just do not seem like it is easy to park a car. Am I mistaken about that?

Plus renting cars just seems like it would be a hassle.

I don't recommend you to go to Mainhattan, too small, try Shark and Oase you never know what will be the LU, taxi or train but not so convenient.

You can fly directly to FRA from CPH, that is what I do.

The problem is just that only legacy carriers fly to frankfurt, so it cost money as opposed to the practically 'free' low cost airlines. Then again, time is money too.
