No, Serena has not put on any weight. Either she is cold, or she is becoming self-conscious in being too slim. I take her now and then for single sessions just for the optics. And she has a very sweet character.

Just a heads up on the Frankfurt train ticket cost. The weekly 25 euro ticket only covers the Frankfurt areas closer to the city, it is region 3. Darmstadt is region 5 so it is a more expensive ticket, about 16.5 euro for a daily ticket.

I found the bus from Darmstadt to be easy, as well as walking 15 minutes from Darmstadt-Nord so never had to take a taxi from the station.
