I rolled the dice and went last weekend, so far I feel OK, if was strange seeing the club quiet on a Saturday with no waiting for rooms. Had planned to go this weekend but decided to cancel, the reports sound like if I'd have a great time there but the number of confirmed infections in Germany is about 600% higher than last weekend so decided it wasn't a risk worth taking. Also in the back of my mind was I'd get there (I'd be travelling from overseas) and the club would be closed or wouldn't let me in.

According to the Darmstadt local website / paper, Darmstadt has 0 cases at the moment.

I too travel from overseas & usually visit Sharks 8/9 times a year.

Thankfully I last visited on Friday 6th March and I'm so glad I did as the virus situation has deteriorated hugely in a week.

What surprised me was the usual high volume of ladies still present which was great for me. There were still quite a few guys but the numbers were certainly down for a Friday night.

A number of the ladies were moaning constantly about the lack of customers but the good service providers were still doing good business. This was evident when at around 10 pm I along with my companion had to wait around 20 minutes upstairs for a room.

My only complaint at Sharks of late is that the cleanliness isn't as good as before. Things like a numbers of the shower gel containers are not replaced regularly and last week later in the evening the showers were far from hot.

I will certainly miss my regular adventures to Sharks but until this virus situation eases I won't be making any plans to return although I suspect most or all FKKs will have to temporary close anyway. Just as long as they open in time for summer, I couldn't bear a summer not laying at the pool watching and interacting with all the naked ladies in the hot sunshine.

What it means is that Germany's healthcare infrastructure is far superior to that of Italy. We all heard of flattening the curve. The whole idea is to keep the peak rate of infected below the capacity of local health system. In Italy and Wuhan the infected numbers spiked way too quickly, local health systems could not cope, and subsequently too many people died.

People made the case that De and France are x days behind Italy. That is only partly true. If you sketch daily case load after say, each country hit 50, the curves show that DE has stayed at half the rate of Italy. In other words, Germany has managed it much better and flattened the curve. Italy failed miserably, is seemingly closer to a third world system than a first world, and has suffered as a result.

And apparently far better than France or Spain also. Odd too that up until the past few days, it doesn't seem like they had really done anything drastic in the public health department. Luck or meticulous nature of Germans in the healthcare environment?

Definitely agree with you that brothel mongering is one of the most surefire ways of picking up COVID-19 right now. But what is staggering to me is Germany's extremely low fatality and good outcome so far, only 8 deaths at the time of this post. Low fatality combine with a moderate prevalence in comparison to influenza to me means that the mortality of this bug in Germany is statistically on par with that of the flu, in Germany anyway. That may change with increase prevalence but perhaps all these closures will ensure as much.

Assuming that clubs stay open, which is highly in doubt at the moment, I look forward to some mongering and self quarantine thereafter.

What you need to look at is the number of cases per capita. Germany is, by far, the largest country in Europe in terms of population. No surprise that it has more cases than Liechtenstein.

You can, perhaps, compare Germany to other countries in Europe. You definitely cannot compare to the USA, simply because the fraction of people who have been tested is way, way lower than in Europe. (Probably has to do with the like of Medicare-for-all-style healthcare.) As for Japan, personal space has always been relatively large in Japan, and some people wear face masks even in normal circumstances.

Nevertheless, it would be foolish to visit any type of prostitution in Germany under the circumstances.

What do you mean by "snake temperature"?

When they took my temperature, before they knew I'm not German, now they know why I don't suffer when cold. Not anymore now unfortunately, but I remember around 1980 when I skied under minus 30/35, not feeling my ears, nose and fingers, but I wanted so much to improve and a lot of snow at this time. I've heard from a fellow monger who is currently at Sharks that currently only German nationals are allowed in to the club during this virus crisis.

I am not a German national and I have been allowed in. However, two things, firstly, I have been visiting regularly since January and they recognize me as such, and secondly, in my last visit on Wednesday, they asked me where I'm from for the first time and seemed to have been giving consideration to my answer. I did not make a mental note but would be surprised if German language was the only language spoken by patrons.

They are happy to get your money, it is not a privilege to enter a FKK with all the risks which are around, at least my meaning. Even they pay me I will not enter a club or visit a prostitute, my health is more important than 1 minute payed pleasure.
