Sharks is only 10 minutes walk from Darmstadt Nord station. I never ever thought of taking a Taxi and they don't have taxis waiting there. Was the weather really that foul? I have taken a Cab back to Darmstadt Nord rarely only due to being very pressed for time to make it to the train. Having to run to the train station is not so much fun. LOL. Taxi driver was naturally pissed off with a short ride so tipped him a bit extra.

It was my first time in Germany and I didn't know the walking route. But yes it was a really short drive. Also, my phone battery was died I wasn't aware of the different electrical outlets in Europe. I couldn't charge my phone the night before. I will walk next time. I spend way too much money on cabs.
