Sorry if this is silly, but I wanted to know what is the etiquette for entering the whirlpools / jacuzzis upstairs. I enjoy hydrotherapy of the whirlpools, but there is always someone in there when I go. I want to know if folks here think it's a private spot where first come first serve to take over the whole thing or welcoming place for many to join.

That is in various scenarios: (1) if there is one guy sitting in there, is it okay to join in the tub? (2) if there is a guy with a woman, is it okay to join in the tub? (3) if there is just a couple of women in there, is it okay to join in the tub?

From tomorrow new rules are introduced in Hessen, the 5 euro quick test will no longer be valid for entering Sharks, unless you are vaccinated or recovered it needs to be a PCR test.

The airliner bus fare does include local transportation. Just keep the airliner receipt although I have never seen anybody checking tickets except the one to the airport.

Bus are is running both ways. Last one back to Darmstadt hbf is around 22:30 during weekdays. You can pay fare (2.30) to the bus driver or pay it by DB app. You don’t need exact coins as the bus driver can accept bills less than 20.

I thought I read from somewhere that if we take the Airliner Bus from airport to Darmstadt HBF, we would automatically get a free pass transfer to get on the Rbus. I wonder if someone can confirm that?

I assume that the Rbus goes both way. Correct? I mean, at the end of the day, we can also walk from Sharks to Daimlerweg to take the bus back to HBF. Right? Wouldn't that be cheaper than taxi if we don't stay too late at the club?

Do you happen to know how much is the bus fare? I was thinking if I want to try the bus option, I better exchange some Euro coins somewhere beforehand. Yes?

You have two options using public transportation:

1) Take the VIA train to Darmstadt Nord station and walk 10-15 min to sharks. Or take bus "R" to stop Daimlerweg.

2) Take a train or the S3 subway to Darmstadt HBF, go out of the station and cross the street bearing slightly to your left and take the bus "R" to stop Daimlerweg.
