Staying at the steinburger hotel near the airport, what's the best way of getting to sharks around 11 pm on a Thursday? How much is an uber / taxi? Or is it cheaper to take the train, then taxi nearby? And how about returning around 3/4 am? What options do I have?

Will be my first time transiting through Germany, and probably my one and only chance to visit a club. Whats the general lineup like on a Thursday around midnight? Would it be worth going for only that couple of hours? Appreciate your support!

The Airliner bus is still running at that time, so you could take the bus to Darmstadt Hbf (8. 75 e), then take a taxi from there to Sharks (10 e). Alternatively, you could take the train to Darmstadt Nord and walk from there (4. 95 e). But honestly, if you only have a short amount of time, you should just take Uber or a taxi. I haven't done it, but others have reported that it costs around 50 e. Uber depends on a lot of factors obviously, so try it and see how much it will be -- if it's less than 50 e, take the Uber. Coming back, take a taxi or Uber.

I don't think we should worry too much about what other guys pay. Rich or naive blokes will always pay too much. I have already said a few times that I have never paid extras for things like BBBJ, kissing and BLS. This is true for even very large segments such as healthcare and university education, which in the US have appreciated way way higher than inflation. For example, if flow of girls from Rom stopped completely for some unforeseen reason, I do not see how prices stay at the same level in German clubs and still have the same level of service and number of girls. Full disclosure I used to be on the other side of this issue. Being a fly in I don't mind paying 100/ hf because I can afford it and it's still cheaper than a lot of places.

But when I visited recently I did not accept this upsell behavior and left satisfied. As long as you can say NO you can have a good discussion.
