XXL, try Moxy in Darmstadt. It's part of Marriott chain. It has free parking and plenty of spaces available even after coming back from Sharks after closing. I am Platinum with Marriott so, I get free breakfast. But I was told that due the the hotel being new, they gave everyone free breakfast as a promotion. Not sure if they still have the free breakfast now but I like the hotel.

Hornung, Arheilger are cheap but acceptable and have parking. Pallas is OK. H+ is also good but sometimes is pricey. There is a new place Moxy listed in Priceline but have not tried it yet, reviews are OK. Also Best Western. Contel.
