It has been a while since last time I was in Sharks, Came around 6 pm on Thursday night. To be honest, Thursday is really not a good day for girls or guys. So many times I have been unhappy with optics, when really it was all in my head for the reasons you say. I think estimates of optics are 50% mood related. Having said that, as with "superstar" or "catastrophe" girls there is some general consensus: for example, optics wise Sharks is better than Dietzenbach. But Sharks vs Oase vs World is not so easy (although most agree that the larger line up at the first two gives better optics).

Mood definitely plays a factor when assessing optics, but it can only do so much. I'd liken it to comparing wines. If someone poured me glasses from a 100 EUR bottle and a 150 EUR bottle, it would be hard for me to differentiate. Mood might influence how I evaluate each. But if someone poured me a really cheap wine, I would be able to instantly identify it as lower quality. The taste would be so markedly inferior to the other two, that I'd come to the same conclusion even if my mood was extremely good.

With regards to "favorites status", I've seen it where one monger's opinion about a specific WG's optics can change within a short period of time (2-3 months). One or two WGs make a difference with regards to how I see the LU, because sometimes they are only 2-5 that really stand out optically. So if someone were asking me to compare the optics between Sharks and Acapulco, I would probably instinctively compare the top five Sharks WGs against the top five Acapulco WGs. If top two are on holiday, well that makes a difference. At really small clubs, two girls missing will have a significant impact.

This caused me to leave the club that day with the impression that the optics are "down", because nobody excited me that day. But if I had been a newbie attending Sharks that first time, my perception of the optics would have been completely different. I would have been excited by the optics because I would have had 15 WGs on my to-do-list.

Optimist, makes sense to me. My next trip (months away) I'll have a car, and since I already experienced Sharks and Mainhattan, I am going to explore some of the smaller clubs. Dietz for sure (sounds like exactly my kind of seedy, an interesting alternative to the RLD), and then maybe Caribic or Bahama or Palace. Perhaps a visit to Treff188? Then capping it all off with a trip to Oase, or a night back at Sharks. Finca I had not heard of- 2 hour drive is not unreasonable.

Very tough to see what will appeal without going yourself, I understand that. I would say one thing that matters is how I will fare speaking English only, ugly american that I am. But yeah, I learned long ago you have to allow for bad experiences if you want to have new experiences.

As far as I know English is sufficient almost everywhere in the FFM area. Less so in some of the smaller NRW clubs. Of course a few words of German or Romanian makes a good impression in some clubs.

Hessen was high level in 2014 to Summer 2016 , without upselling at Sharks or World or Mainhattan, except at Oase and Palace, but since September 2016 I find prettier girls in NRW and at YY NL, with higher level in bed, full GFE for 50/30 mn.

Hessen is now touristic land, average level is for tourists, girls are on clients demanding level.
