My bad man, the place I'm talking about is actually on Hoang Sa (the street on the other side of the canal going towards D1). Right before the train tracks on the right. It's got the typical HTGD signage.

Thanks to the detailed report by Viking, my trip to HCMC was a lot more interesting than my previous trip.

As soon as you land, (and when you leave), the time between the plane and your hotel can easily be 3-4 hours! The immigration lines both ways are insane and if you are doing the visa on arrival, hours will tick by waiting for them to give you the stamp ad then standing in line again for immigration. Then there is the traffic (even on weekends and odd times). So one needs to be prepared and have a little Zen.

I decided to get things started with the cafe om experience and ended up spending a few lovely hours at different shops on Pham The Hein. The easiest way to recognize these places is that they have an exterior room / entry area and an interior room that is not visible from the street. In the entry area you will see some of the motorbikes of the local customers and a couple of big potted plants. At the entrance to the interior room also you will see the potted plants. So easy to spot them.

Cafe om experience is more about making out than sex, at least that's what my experience was. Depending on the girl and chemistry can actively participate in the make out session or just be passive. Most of the body (except the pussy itself) are accessible and how much ever I tried, it seems like they won't do any kissing on the mouth or BBBJ on the premises. One of them was willing to go to the hotel. So seems possible to get sex but I was too far away from the hotel, so didn't entertain the idea. One of the sessions I had was very good like a high school GF who didn't want to have sex but. All in all a very enjoyable experience for all of $7-8 for an hour including a beer. I think if they added a Benny's happy ending for an additional fee even in the bathroom (a la Sol in BKK), I think these would be mobbed! This was probably quite a bit more expensive but my friend took care of it, so don't know the exact amount.

I was also told by the local girls that Maxim is a great place where it seems more like a Cafe om experience in the night but with take out. I guess it is like a typical juice bar type of experience. They seem to recommend it highly!

Moral of the story. Cafe om a must try and easy to navigate. Benny is YMMV and a bit clinical. If you can, both in terms of contacts and budget, karaoke place is well worth it. Unfortunately I can't help in terms of the location etc as I have no idea. I believe it was in District 3 and a name like Vijs or Vin's or some such. Finally Maxim's might be worth a try. If you decide to go to these places, please please please don't pay more than 3-400 k. I've been frequenting various spots along Truong and Huong Sa for 3 years now and never pay over 300 k and would rather not have the girls start expecting more. I give it all to the girl after she is done and she takes her share and gives the rest to the boss. Just walk in and ask for a "masa" and she will show up upstairs. Both streets (Truong Sa and Huong Sa) have quiet a few of these places. Look between Pham Van Hai and Trang Quang Dieu. Just pick one of the streets and slowly cruise along it. The Hot Tocs offering these services are easy to spot. The one I used to frequent a lot was on Huong Sa right before the train tracks. Now the girls here aren't always as "hot" as on NPK but they are cheaper. Let me know how you fare!

Not finding any action I went to my usual HTGD spot on Hoang Sa. Both Truong Sa and Hoang Sa (streets that run along the canal) have loads of HTGDs.
