I visted one hospital and my own GP before taking myself off the the local Sexual Health Clinic, solveing my Gonorrhea in hours with a jab, Ceftriaxone 1g. 500mg dose. Mr Gonorrhea cleared in a matter of hours. I was wanking around with Doctors.

What I did recently was purchase Azithromycin 250mg (Azycin, Thailand) 315 Baht. I popped two of these a third of the way through my trip. Cleans out the system, getting rid of those little travel bugs. Sound practice? I think so.

Yes you can get UTI from doing anal sex. Sounds like you need a better doctor. And 10k (peso I hope) how most docs charge 300 plus 300 for test and 500-1000 for meds. 2k at most.

The above article is not just related to Japan in my experience, but Gonorrhea in general across Asia is putting up a mighty struggle to antibiotics. I speak of personal experience. My honeybabes gifted me Gonorrhea in the Philippines, it was hell trying to rid myself of her gift. Tried the various antibiotics, no success, ten days later I was still seeping custard. Back in the UK, shot myself off to the local Sexual Health Clinic. A jab of Ceftriaxone 1g did the trick in a matter of hours. I was mightily relieved, and have since been given the all clear after various tests.

It is not a blood test as pointed out it is a basic test done weekly or monthly. It will not show all STD and girls will get the STD between test and still be doing sex. I point out living here with a ex bar girl for 5 years I have had girls from the bars tell me first hand that they have a STD and most live peso to peso and need to borrow money to pay the doctor and for the medicine. The girls who can not borrow some will do freelance work. The other problem is they stop taking the drugs to keep the pills for next time. No expert on the PIs. Only was in Cebu once. But one girl showed me her hygyene test that she claimed to do monthly (she was from silver doolar).

When was the last time there was a comprehensive screening programme in The Philippines?

The average Jose on the street has probably never been tested for anything. The only time they need a mandatory test is when they require one as an entry requirement to gain employment in certain countries.

Admittedly, the projected infection rates are considered to be quite small in The Philippines. But that is no need to be blase about the risks as our stockbroker found out to his cost.

Agreed, you cannot legislate against the stupidity of individual human beings. Unfortunately some people will take extra risks in order to get that extra kick despite full cognizance of the dangers posed by ordinary STDs and worse. And if this only had relevance and concern for them alone it would be of little consequence to the rest of the more responsible mongering community. But not everyone is as responsible as the quoted Filipino in warning his fellow 'walkers'. I am sure that there are many out there (perhaps reading this now) who are fully aware of their positive status of infection with HPV, herpes or the big incurable nasty and couldn't give a shit who they infect and in fact are encouraged to bareback because of their status. Why should they care when they will be out of the country and far away before the girl exhibits symptoms (if she does). And the dirtier the pool, the more likely it is that some poor unsuspecting dupe will pick up something nasty and incurable to take home. He maybe read on ISG about other mongers boasting about bareback adventures and gets the idea that it is somehow safe.

So, despite making somber and uncomfortable reading for some, these cautionary stories are worthwhile if they encourage just one punter to take adequate protection when perhaps he was considering the riskier option.

We all know that mongering is a high risk sport but who would really want to go sky diving without a parachute?

For the original post content, he must have been unlucky as AIDs is less likely to be spread through heterosexual activity.

Anyway, I guess if people go bareback in enough working girls then they will be getting exposed to a lot of nasty bugs.

I have first hand experiance of a bar girl in Cebu who did bare back sex and she had aids. Her bf was not a local and knew he had aids and gave it to her. She was still working until she found out after a long fever.

Cautionary tale from a Filipino mongering site (yes, they do exist!). Didn't know which thread to put it on so created this one. With the amount of openly admitted barebacking that goes on here, maybe it is long overdue. The Thai board has had a ' safe sex' thread for a while.

I'm a GM most of you know by name around here, but to protect my privacy and my family I'm using an alternick. By the title of my thread I guess you already know what I'm going to tell you. Nevertheless, I want to share my story hoping that other GMs may learn something from it.

Wala na akong ganang pumasok sa office at wala na rin akong ganang kumain. But the worse is yet to come. Upon my doctor's advice, I underwent an HIV test and. You guess it right. I'm positive. Nagpaalam ako sa opisina namin na magbabakasyon muna ako ng isang buwan. Right now andito lang ako sa bahay, living in an empty house with an empty feeling. I cry hard every night, hindi ko masabi sa wife ko o sa pamilya ko. Ang alam nilang reason kung bakit ako hiniwalayan ng asawa ko ay dahil may iba akong babae. Hindi na rin ako dumadalaw sa mga anak ko dahil nandidiri ako sa sarili ko. I don't know what to do. I don't want to die a lonely man pero ito siguro ang kapalaran ko na ako rin ang gumawa. Sana merong institution for HIV / AIDS patients para don't na lang ako titira.

PS: By the way, some of the PSPs I had sex with are still in the business. Nakikita ko pa rin ang threads nila dito at sa isang site. If you can't drop the PSP habit, use protection ALL the time.
